You will become familiar with the fund strategies and an expert in the portfolio implementation system. Your role requires following trade ideas through from the point a portfolio manager selects a stock to the conclusion of the trade and dealing with subsequent cash and operational requirements. Additionally, you could be expected to play an important role in the operational set-up and launch of any new products on the desk.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage multi-portfolios/accounts.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Holder of a relevant University bachelor’s degree and at least one of Senior broker/SITICA license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of overseas fund portfolio management working experience.
  • High level of numeracy, attention to detail, and risk awareness with a control-oriented mind-set.
  • Assertive with strong communication skills and a flexible attitude in supporting people based in different time zones.
  • Highly focused, maintaining a consistently high level of concentration and attention to detail, able to work accurately under pressure, within tight deadlines, and effectively prioritize workflow.
  • Pro-active approach to work to prevent problems occurring, with a questioning nature that challenges anomalous figures or procedures.
  • Native Mandarin fluency and written and verbal fluency in English.

As an Analyst within the Commercial & Investment Bank Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) team, you will be responsible for managing the Front Office relationship for business requests in KYC Onboarding, Remediation and Renewals for Taiwan. You will facilitate the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring all due diligence documentation is sourced and delivered to the Wholesale Client Onboarding team to incorporate into the KYC platform. You will be part of the team which operates in close partnership with Bankers, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to provide efficient and timely on-boarding of new/existing client relationships to the JP Morgan infrastructure.


Job responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Front Office focusing on MNC& HQ Corporates, Fintech/NBFIs – broker dealer, Insurance, etc. and potentially direct with clients to manage new business requests received as well on scheduled renewals from the Front Office and facilitate the KYC process end to end
  • Act as an SME and Due Diligence expert to guide clients through the KYC requirements and variation of documents which may fulfil due diligence requirements
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on the ownership structure of the client on publicly available sources (not limited to company registries) or client documentation, and seek additional confirmation or approvals as required
  • Liaise regularly with the business to conduct workload planning, review status of key onboardings and prioritize open requests and with key stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, Credit and Operations to develop strong partnerships, eliminate roadblocks and ensure continuity of information flow across the groups
  • Manage personal workload and priority items and ensure timely escalation of key risks/issues to management maintaining timelines
  • Keep informed of any changes to processes and procedures, regulatory change and ensure open verbal dialogue with colleagues across the region
  • Identify and execute process improvements, provide guidance and support on key process and technology initiatives to the business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in KYC / Client Onboarding / Audit / Control / Risk / Anti-Money Laundering within the Banking Industry
  • A working knowledge of KYC/Compliance/AML procedures and standards
  • Strong time management, organizational, relationship building skills
  • Quality client focus, strong controls mind-set and strong customer service skills (e.g. oral and written communication skills)
  • Prior experience of adhering to controls and compliance standards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full accountability for the end-to-end query resolution raised by clients. These queries will include, but not be limited to Settlements and Corporate Actions, Tax and Income. This will involve detailed discussions/handholding with operations on processes and actions to be taken therein.
  • Building relationships with clients to understand client behavior and requirements.
  • Analyze client transactional data in order to identify client trends and behaviors, identifying key operational risk and control metrics, and contributing to the presentation of operational data metrics to the Custody business stakeholders as well as external client interactions.
  • Drive resolution and management of client queries, leveraging internal teams globally and regionally as appropriate.
  • Identify Service Requests and Service Delivery Issues for Client Services Account Managers to address; as well as any daily activities that may impact client satisfaction.
  • Maintain daily contact with clients with clients by email and phone calls. Attend client meetings and calls with Client Services Account Managers
  • Monitoring and resolution of risk indicators to ensure that both J.P. Morgan and the client are aware of any issues that may have an adverse financial or reputational impact.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • Strong focus in client service management, communication and delivery. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills are required.
