Job Responsibilities

• Schedule Investor Relations (IR) meetings with investors and corporates.

As a Vice President in the Wholesale Credit Risk team, you will be at the forefront of executing transactions across derivatives, liquidity and cash management products, vanilla and structured loans, as well as acquisition & leveraged finance. You will be working closely with our business partners from various sectors including Global Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking as well as Markets and Securities Services and Global Payments. Your role will be pivotal in promoting credit analytics including risk rating determination, industry assessment with a key focus on due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and approval of transactions. • Strong understanding of products across loans, derivatives and liquidity and cash management products as well as related documentation
• Ability to take an active role in identifying key issues and concerns relating to clients, their industries and transaction structures
• Written and verbal communication in Japanese as well as in English is a requisite, along with strong interpersonal skills

Job summary:

At Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk division, as a trade surveillance personnel you would be responsible for identifying potential instances of market abuse, notably insider trading and market manipulation using well known surveillance systems, conducting surveillance of activities in Firm and Employee accounts to comply with the information barrier and restricted list policies. The trade surveillance team would be responsible for looking into the risks across markets using the established surveillance program to safeguard the firm against any reputational and/or financial risk while complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
