As a Digital & Platform Services - Markets Operations Finance Management Associate within the Finance Management team, you will partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. You will be responsible for key financial measures such as expenses, headcount, or financial and headcount modeling, delivering value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assisting with strategic direction and decision-making. You will provide leadership across the finance teams and interact regularly with Operations or Technology Managers and peers across Finance & Business Management.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Calculate and consolidation of the month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years
• Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and provide commentary explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets
• Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad hoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior management
• Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible
• Work on projects to drive global consistency and create synergies across the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature.

As a Control Manager within the Legal Oversight & Controls team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and further enhancing the Legal department’s control environment. This position requires expertise in risk and control management, including real-time detection of control issues, escalation processes, root cause analysis, and remediation strategies. You will have the opportunity to both utilize and assess AI and machine learning applications and will also focus on the data risk control environment.Your knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and theories will enable you to promote innovative solutions in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape.

• Serve as a trusted control advisor to Legal department personnel and management, providing assistance and guidance in adhering to the operational risk framework and implementing controls to effectively mitigate operational risk.
• Provide support for the execution of risk and control assessments, including identification of control breaks and resolutions to minimize financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk.
