Acts as an advisor to HCAA for review and recommendation for best practices related to construction health and safety
Provide administrative liaison and coordination with the client concerning the development and ongoing maintenance to the department and program related Health and Safety plans
Monitor the project safety management process with regards to effective implementation of loss prevention activities and contractor adherence to contractual requirements
Assist in the investigation of incidents involving loss or near-miss. Communicate with client and project management regarding these matters
Provide active coordination and assistance with all Design Builder and Contractor onsite safety incidents to include notification reporting, follow up meetings and tracking
Review and provide comment on all submitted Design Builder and Contractor site specific safety plans and programs
Assist in the coordination of resources to support project safety training efforts
Assist HCAA in monitoring such measures as employee badging, access control, and perimeter security
Monitor Design Builder’s and Contractor’s maintenance of a database of safety documents and reports for assigned projects
Provides assistance and technical advice to HCAA in an effort to achieve an effective safety program
Track safety performance metrics on a monthly basis and contribute site activities, claims information, and metrics to the client monthly report
