As a key member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as a Project Manager for water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects – planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning. You will be leading multidiscipline design teams to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies.

We’d look to you to support clients through the life of a project from studies, planning, design, compliance and permitting, construction as well as start-up. Also, you’d assist other project managers on large, complex projects, including task management experience.

Utilizing your technical expertise, we’d ask you to lead design efforts on projects as well as mentor our early career professionals. You’d have time in the field to conduct existing facility assessments and identification of rehab needs as well as provide construction services including shop drawings, RFIs, change order preparation.

We’re seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to support delivering Projects in Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia beyond related to water resources, stormwater, floodplain modeling and mapping, dams, ecosystem restoration, water quality, and more. Projects will include planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, design, construction services, and special and innovative projects.

As a Water Resources Project Manager, you’ll be leading a team of highly qualified and motivated engineers, interacting directly with clients to develop and deliver technical solutions, and mentoring ambitious engineers. We’ll rely on you to assist with business development activities with key clients resulting in acquisition of new projects. You’ll effectively lead and manage project teams throughout all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout; consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in each contract.

Using your water resources technical expertise, you’ll play an integral role inleading andmentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, includingstrategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts.
