Main Responsibilities:

- Determine the acceptability of the day‐to‐day work by the contractor

- Review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports submitted by the contractor

- Performs inspection of the contractor’s quality control procedures

- Performs material testing and verifies that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures.

- Reviews material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measures quantities of materials placed.

- May be required to perform sampling and/or in‐place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt concrete pavement.

QA/QC Professional, you’ll work with experienced QA/QC team members to complete contract documents, standards and specifications, while developing records and reports of inspections and assessments. You’ll help review and resolve technical problems, compliance on inspections, and help support field staff to ensure all quality requirements are complete. Based out of our Cincinnati, Ohio office, but located at one of our projects in the, you’ll have the chance to help monitor and inspect material at receipt and before installation when on site and report any recommended changes in materials or procedures to senior staff. You’ll help monitor quality for compliance to regulatory and industry-specific standards while using your unique background and diverse perspective to help shape the success of project quality plans.
