The purpose of therole is to provide technical and professional leadership in the field of Aboriginal cultural heritage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and contributing to winning opportunities through strong client relationships and proposal writing, providing technical leadership, coaching and mentorship within the Jacobs heritage team and beyond.
• Leading and supporting the delivery of a wide range of heritage projects, including working collaboratively with a range of disciplines and staff experience levels.
• Provide high level technical and professional leadership, project management experience and business development support to our heritage teams across Australia and New Zealand.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage internal Jacobs teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors.
• Work with clients to solve their energy transition challenges and meet their decarbonization goals.
• Collaborate with our technical leadership, client account managers, and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance.
• Anticipate challenges and manage “up and out” while supporting large teams responsible for the daily details of project delivery.
• Manage client relationships to ensure all expectations are understood and met. Work with the broader Jacobs team as necessary to ensure stewardship of positive client relationships, including active involvement in the resolution of any client concerns.
• Monitor assigned projects to minimize risk and adhere to project budget, schedule, scope, and quality, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
• Lead in developing and pursuing business opportunities with existing or new potential clients.
• Support Jacobs operational and business development teams with proposals or other materials for new business opportunities.
