As a key member of our digital delivery team, you will:

• Lead the implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and modeling methodologies across project lifecycles.
• Support project quality assurance, BIM best practices, and lessons learned documentation.
• Monitor contractor compliance with BIM Execution Plans, CDE protocols, and ISO 19650 standards.
• Review QA/QC submissions and ensure BIM model accuracy for shop drawing generation.
• Manage and maintain federated models and associated data (MIDP, TIDP, IFC, NWC, etc.).
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and track issues using platforms like BIM Track.
• Ensure LOD/LOIN deliverables meet project stage requirements, including COBie and 4D outputs.
• Provide BIM training and technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Promote automation and interoperability between BIM and engineering analysis tools.
• Stay current with BIM trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The engineer would fulfill the role of
Principal Marine Structural Engineer

The key responsibilities include:

1. Delivering engineering consultancy services as a technical leader to achieve high client satisfaction
2. Work package management for marine structural analysis and design including:

1. Data gathering and interpretation
2. FE modelling (StaadPro or similar)
3. Calculations
4. Design drawings
5. Technical report writing
6. Specifications for construction
7. Construction quantities and cost estimates
8. Planning and scheduling

1. Identifying and securing follow on opportunities through the quality and value of our engineering and client services
2. Providing technical leadership and review of engineering consultancy services, within own area of competency

The secondary responsibilities include:

1. Understanding Jacobs’ market position and goals in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asia region

1. Developing focus client relationship management through the life cycle of projects; working with Technical Director and Team Leader to pursue opportunities from first spark, to award of contract, to successful project completion
2. Working with wider regional Sales and Operations teams to help identify market triggers, drivers and opportunities
3. Detailed discussions to scope out client’s requirements and expectations through effective listening, summarizing and questioning

You will be responsible for the full-time on-site supervision of Civil and Structures- related tasks. And can work under Resident Engineer (RE)’s instruction and direction closely.

• The IOW will oversee day-to-day Construction Operation at site. - To check, monitor, inspect, perform quality control checks, and monitor work in progress and final inspection on completed works.
• The person requires performing site supervision and coordination to ensure that the works carried out by the Contractors are within quality standards and correcting specification. –
• To check, monitor, inspect, perform quality control checks, and monitor work in progress and final inspection on completed works. Reporting on non-conforming matters found during inspection to Resident Engineer
• Coordinate and supervise Defect Rectification Works during Defect Liability Period. –

The Primary responsibilities are as follows.
