Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

As an
Analyst - Commercial Risk, you will play a key role in supporting project teams and Project Managers in the successful delivery of advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting project teams in the delivery of commercial, financial, and risk advisory services for major projects/programs.
• Preparing reports, technical memos, financial models, and other deliverables.
• Conducting research, data collection, data entry, and analysis to support project outcomes.
• Organizing and participating in internal and client meetings, preparing relevant presentation materials.
• Documenting and tracking critical action items and decisions from meetings.
• Monitoring project changes and schedule deviations, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Providing administrative support and undertaking project tasks as required.
• Assisting with Jacobs’ internal project processes and controls as needed.Note: This role does not involve design or engineering work. However, a strong understanding of these disciplines is considered an asset.

The incumbent in this role is also expected to produce detailed project risk reports as required within the program reporting cycle as well as taking an active role in the continuous improvement of the risk management function. In delivery terms, the Senior Risk Analyst will support the Risk Manager and in ensuring that all project delivery team members comply with the Risk Management Plan and other ancillary risk-related procedures, satisfying the risk management requirements for their assigned scope of work. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Adherence to the risk management plan, leading activities related to the following: - Mitigation Planning and Control - Review and Reporting - Identification of project risks via workshops with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders - Data input to the Active Risk Manager (ARM) database for assigned scope - Where appropriate assists in the continuous improvement of the risk management process - Interfaces with project delivery teams (e.g. project managers, engineers etc) and the project controls team (e.g. Scheduling, Estimating etc) as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Team management: Lead a small team, and provide direction and mentorship as required.
• Risk Development Strategy: Establish the overall process for the joint identification, assessment and tracking of risks, segregation of risks to risk owners, development of mitigation actions, and recurring monitoring and update - ensuring that risk management is conducted according to established practices.
• Risk Refinement: Establish the framework for how collaborative risk workshops will be implemented to facilitate comprehensive discussion on both inter- and intra-disciplinary risks.
• Risk Modelling: Oversee the running of the integrated Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) model and ensure risk modelling is conducted according to established practices.
• Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with the Project stakeholders to ensure consistent quality and compliance throughout the joint risk register development process.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with design and construction teams, estimating and scheduling teams, independent value assessors and other critical stakeholders to ensure the risk register accurately reflects the scope and complexities of the project.
