Key responsibilities
  • Execute the strategy of the sanctions compliance program across the enterprise, including working collaboratively with the sanctions compliance team on risk management strategies;
  • Provide guidance and support to the Sanctions Compliance team and business units on sanctions reviews, including EU and UK sanctions;

Key skills and qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent
  • 5+ years of trade compliance experience, with 4+ years of sanctions experience, including demonstrated experience in EU and UK sanctions matters.
  • Advanced command of English language
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-faced environment under strict deadline
  • Any of the below is considered as advantage: Experience in the oil and gas / energy sector, experience in a major law firm or corporate legal department, other foreign language proficiency, strong initiative and drive for results, excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.

Trade Compliance Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Work cooperatively and proactively across all functional areas to ensure compliance with all import laws and regulations, including determining importer and exporter of records, country of origin and origin marking, and assignment of tariff codes.
  • Act as the key trade focal with sites, vendors, and suppliers in terms of Customs matters, including training and awareness programs.
