As a
Sr Procurement Buyerhere at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving our organization's procurement and purchasing activities. This position plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function.

In this role, you will place purchase orders, set up suppliers, resolve invoice issues, and maintain automation for the covered Leads scope. You will also support operations teams in achieving key performance indicators.

• Drive the purchasing process to meet internal customer needs, ensuring they are completed within 24 hours of receiving a complete requisition, and manage any changes to existing orders in line with commercial agreements
• Lead Constraint Reviews with suppliers and initiate the setup or modification of new suppliers, collaborating with category teams and vendor master to ensure adherence to standard processes
• Address and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with Accounts Payable to eliminate any procurement-related invoice holds
• Provide feedback to Category teams and Sourcing Operations, ensuring compliance with the End to End Purchase to Pay process and supporting broader operational initiatives
• Assist in the implementation and adoption of automation tools aimed at achieving 85% transaction automation within your managed scope
• Conduct compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to policies, while also supporting the onboarding and training of new hires and assisting management with escalations and complex tasks

Key skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or supply chain management, paired with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, along with comprehensive technical knowledge of procurement strategies and practices, including outsourcing critical services
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities, with a proven capacity to navigate dynamic environments and promote change within a global organization
