As a
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Skills
Has knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications
May support other Engineers, Technicians and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.
- Communication Skills
Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
Communicates any non-compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.
- Leadership Skills
Establishes and applies methodology to new concepts and recommends enhancements to advance projects and processes.
May assist in developing Aerospace Engineering processes and guidelines.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience and 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience of C and C++ for embedded applications
Desirable
- Experience as software design engineer in either the Cellular or SATCOM sectors
- Experience of Python or Linux
- Exposure to agile methods and source control systems
- Technical background in wireless communications and in particular modem/wireless transceiver architectures.
- Knowledge of signal processing and DSP would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of software defined radio architectures would be an advantage
