Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.

Managed end-to-end supply chain or manufacturing projects, with the ability to identify & implement best practices along with delivering on time and within budget.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field
5+ years of experience in verbal and written communication across cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
MBA or Master’s degree
Experience withApplied project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to improve operational efficiency.

Lead Compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals.
Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations. This includes hiring, employee development, and discipline responsibilities, as well as time and attendance.
Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, and cost-conscious manner while meeting quality standards.
Drive LEAN manufacturing implementation and sustain/improve efforts.
Work with other managers throughout manufacturing to generate continuous improvement ideas and spearhead the implementation of those ideas that lead to bottom line results.
Track and report metrics in their functional area to include labor hour consumption, work order completion, inventory accuracy, throughput, and capacity. Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards.
Area training ownership. Develop and create training plans to maximize workforce capability and compliance.
Collaborate with other PTLs to ensure alignment of functional area across manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years production, supply chain or leadership experience or High School diploma/GED and 10 years production or supply chain or leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity.
Strong decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to act independently using good judgement and discretion.
Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite, and standard ERP systems.
Medical Device manufacturing experience
OMLP/ETLP graduate

Test production/Refurb assemblies/systems for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency using a Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Power Supplies.
Perform electrical calibration on production/refurb systems and subassemblies.
Interfaces with other departments in the execution of duties to ensure the orderly flow of material and information.
Execute training plans.
Perform basic trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Conduct diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.
Interpret circuit board schematics/system interconnect diagrams.
Utilize basic technical communications throughout the test process for production/Refurb assemblies/systems.
Provide evaluation/constructive feedback in the development of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation.
Provide strong individual contributions to team goals.
Participate in LEAN process improvement activities to improve quality, process flow, and cycle or TAKT times.
Comply with EHS regulations and policies and escalate concerns/suggestions to leadership.
Maintain daily production output.
Identify and report defects in assigned area.
Engage in daily 5s activities.
Associates degree in an Electronics or Engineering field, or a technical certificate from a qualifying school with at least 25 credit hours in electronics including classes in electronics assembly, DC/AC/analog electronics, digital fundamentals, troubleshooting, and instrumentation, or a High School diploma and 2 years Electronics experience.
Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
Must be able to physically lift (floor to waist, waist to crown level, and horizontally)
Lift and carry up to 35 lbs. (Anything over 35 lbs. requires assistance.)
Must be able to perform frequent simple grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation, neck rotation, and neck flexion frequently throughout the workday
Must be able to twist, push/pull, reach at, above and below shoulder height frequently throughout the workday
Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, squat and kneel throughout the workday
Must be able to stand/sit continuously throughout the day
Must be able to ascend/descend/balance occasionally on portable step stools
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields.
Experience in medical manufacturing or other highly regulated industry preferred.


Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications.
Interfaces with other departments in the execution of duties to ensure the orderly flow of material and information.
Perform advanced trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions.
Perform software and hardware evaluation and implement plans using knowledge of product, system operation, intermodule interactions, engineering tolls, and interactive software tools.
Utilize basic technical communications throughout the new product cycle to improve internal models and/or externally sourced components in terms of system performance, reliability, functionality, and serviceability.
Provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing personnel on new product introductions as new products are developed and new procedures are implemented.
Develop and execute training plans as required.
Provide strong individual contributions in the context of achieving team goals and provide technical leadership by assisting others in troubleshooting, answering questions and seeking engineering assistance.
Train other team members through technical communications and/or presentations.
Work with management team to influence and deploy training plans or work instructions as appropriate.
Comply with EHS regulations and policies; Lead EHS projects/activities designed to eliminate hazards and improve overall safety of job operations.
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type / position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. May participate in quality control inspections of certain sub-assemblies and final product.
Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework. documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to it’s specification.
Demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to work in a self-directed fashion.
Associates degree and 3 years technical experience, or a High School diploma and 5 years technical experience.
