As the HR Manager for GE Healthcare Thailand, you will be the primary HR contact for managers and the leadership team, providing strategic and operational HR support. You will lead the execution of HR initiatives, ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, and foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. This role is critical in driving HR functional excellence and supporting business growth in Thailand.In addition to country responsibilities, the role is also expected to potentially support a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within the AKA (ASEAN, Korea, ANZ) region, subject to future organizational decisions. This may involve cross-border collaboration and regional HR project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and the leadership team, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement business-specific HR strategies.
  • Provide coaching and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, including employment contracts, working hours, benefits, and termination procedures.
  • Lead HR processes such as compensation planning, performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning.
  • Manage workplace investigations and employee grievances with integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and drive resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.

  • Collect competitive insights on MS and DCAR products and feedback to AKA MS/DCAR Segment Leader.
  • Keep abreast of current industry associations and work with AKA Segment Leader as well as AKA Product Marketing Leader to determine conference attendance plans.
  • Work with AKA Product Marketing Leader to execute product-specific marketing strategies.
  • Engage with Zone Commercial teams to be the first point of contact for product-related expertise.
  • Work with Zone Applications to train/educate Zone Commercial teams, Channel Partners and end-user customers when needed, on technical aspects of the product portfolio as well as competitive positioning and value propositions.
  • Attend end-user customer meetings in Collaboration with the Commercial and Applications teams where appropriate.
  • Review funnel health and collaborate with Zone Commercial teams to address concerns.
  • Assisting with the management of CSO (Customer Satisfaction Opportunity) case and attending Zone CSO escalation meetings as appropriate.
  • Participate in the development of product specific KOL’s.
  • Participate in the establishment of reference and show sites.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare product management, marketing or related field.

  • Responsible to set appropriate OP targets based on the market potential, for the Sales Managers and/or Account Managers in conjunction with the Product Leadership.

  • Accountable to develop & implement account management strategy for the country and ensure compliance and execution of the regional sales process and rules of engagement within their teams in conjunction with the Regional Product Leaders.

  • In conjunction with account management team, actively identify & drive boundaryless selling opportunities in the country. Promote Service offerings, identify and escalate commercial service needs. Manage within the organization matrix to optimize the coordination and use of Company, Product, Region and country resources.

  • Responsible for managing the long-term success of GE’s relationship with a set of Strategic accounts in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and GE.

  • Responsible to ensure that all Sales Managers and / or Account Managers have clear opportunity management activity and relationship building plans to ensure efficient coverage of decision makers and influencers through-out the total opportunity management cycle.

  • Responsible for driving operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities in the pipeline as well as forecasting performance against OP with their teams.

  • Responsible to drive operating mechanisms to deliver on fulfillment targets and order backlog commitments.

Customer, Market and GEHC solutions awareness

  • Know Key Opinion Leaders in care areas; manage professional relations with key customers, government & administrative bodies in order to deepen understanding of customer challenges and needs.

  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for the Account Management teams in the country. Provide ongoing feedback to Management, Region and Marketing.

  • Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to the full GEHC product and services solutions and ensure that teams strengthen their knowledge on how to differentiate GE offering.

One GEHC teamwork

  • Facilitate effective communication & collaboration within the country and the region. Drive country operating mechanisms and ensure follow-up identified leads between all product lines.

  • Act as a primary customer point of contact in the country and represent Thailand in case of multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events and ultimately accountable for issue resolution for assigned country.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master Degree with 15+ experience in Business Management or Sales / Marketing OR equivalent years of experience in progressive leadership positions

  • At least 5+ year experience of managing a big P&L (above 40Mill USD) in the HealthCare industry.

  • Strong understanding of the Thailand HealthCare industry, culture and government institutions (min. 10 years business experience within Thailand)

  • At least 10+ years’ experience closing large, complex, strategic deals.

  • Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development.

  • Exemplary Servant Leadership skills: people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills.

  • Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills

  • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.

  • High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.

  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization.
