Roles and Responsibilities

• All contract performance related activities, tied to customer(s) or program(s).
  Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in the Product Management & Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work integrally with associated Product Engineering, Service Methods, and Field Service teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers. This will include select duties as content developer, trainer, and registrar.

• Use/Develop knowledge of Imaging service, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.

• Develop Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of best practices and gain awareness of the competition and the factors that differentiate GEHC Products in the market.

• Uses sound engineering judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years experience in the field or in an engineering role OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

• Recognized service expertise in Imaging modalities, i.e. CT, XR, MR, etc.

• Demonstrated understanding of Engineering & Applied Science Fundamentals.

• Demonstrated ability to receive and convey engineering and mechanical details.

• Able to read & follow written work instructions using basic instruments and tools.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create varied learning styles for all students.

• Fluid communication in English.

• Comfortable relating to persons of widely diverse cultures and backgrounds.

• Team player, with a positive attitude and a passion for creativity.

• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military, Associate or Bachelor Level Education in a related field.

• Field Service or Modality Engineering experience.

• Experience with GEHC Imaging System Maintenance & Repair procedures, i.e. CT, XR, MR, etc.

• Experience with virtual training and learning.

• Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Working with architects and technical experts to evaluate design, alternatives, implement prototypes and establish an execution plan,

• Delivering medium and higher complexity tasks of features according to the agreed timelines and quality standards,

• Participating in automated test development against the owned components,

• Participating design documentation of the owned components,

• Participating in issue investigation and fixes.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript and nodejs – mainly backend,

• Experience in software design, development and testing,

• Experience with test automation (Preferred: Playwright),

• Experience with DICOM standard and medical images,

• Experience in working on software projects in the Healthcare, domain,

• Experience with Java,

• Experience with CI/CD/CT (GitLab).

GE Healthcare apprenticeship program members will be part of an international team exposed to a variety of tasks within service organization. The Apprentice Program includes on the job training, knowledge sharing and guidance by experienced colleagues, active learning and international exposure.

• Visit hospitals and private clinics to assist more experienced Field Service Engineers and Subject Matter Experts during basic and complex repairs /troubleshooting

• Support installations or systems upgrades in the field

• Works on projects often requiring independent decision-making, analyze data with excel or various other analytical tools.

• Meet Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety requirements and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Participate in early talent events, seminars and trainings.

Qualifications/Requirement

• Minimum of University education required with a diploma in Medical Devices/Technologies, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering

• Strong analytical and manual skills

• Strong knowledge and understanding of electronics and IT

• Fluency in English and Hungarian

• Willingness and ability to frequently travel domestically and less frequently internationally
