Responsibilities:

1. Manage strategy planning process. As a key member of China Corporate Strategy team, the job holder will organize and facilitate China strategic planning process, and be responsible for:

• China macro economy and medical equipment industry analysis;
• Competitor benchmark and deep-dive;
• Business / functional medium and long-term strategic planning and investment cases;
• China strategy execution planning, set target KPIs and ensure accountabilities.

2. Perform ad-hoc strategy projects. Based on China business priorities, act as a PMO on ad-hoc strategy projects / initiatives by collaborating with BU/Functional teams.

• Set the project scope, schedule and key milestone output based on leadership inputs.
• Conduct deep research and analysis on the critical business issues, including policy research, customer segmentation, competitor deep dive, adjacency studies, pricing analysis, new business planning, etc.
• Lead third party research team and/or consultancy, coordinate internal cross-functional resources.
• Synthesize insights from research findings and discussion and generate implications (e.g. opportunities and risks).
• Organize cross-functional/BU workshops to share initial findings, discuss strategic options, and develop recommendations on solutions / action plans.

3. Ensure strategy implementation. Based on GEHC China/BU’s medium and long-term development strategy, develop and monitor strategy implementation:

• Support BU to further operationalize next level implementation roadmap and details (e.g. owner, milestones, transformation)
• Set up regular progress review cadence (e.g. monthly, quarterly), identify challenges and roadblocks, problem solving together with BUs/Functions to ensure meeting strategic objective / performance targets.
• Prepare regular progress updates for top management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or above Degree in top universities, prefer Healthcare or business-related majors; MBA, PhD, MD is a plus. 8+ year work experience in either:

• Corporate Strategy or Business Marketing positions in leading Healthcare / Medical Device companies.
• Strategy consultancy with comprehensive exposure in healthcare industry.
• Experience and know-how in Sales/Marketing/Commercial Operation, Supply Chain, and/or AI/Digital is a plus.

2. Demonstrated strategic framing, analytic skills, conceptual & structural problem solving, and quantitative skills.

4. Proven project leadership and demonstrated influencing skills, confidence in navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and managing cross-functional teams.

5. Outstanding in English and Chinese, including oral communication, written and presentation skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle deviation/OOS/CAPA to ensure deviations are reviewed, assessed, evaluated to comply with the cGMP. Collaborate and work together with other departments to allow closure of preventive and corrective actions and ensuring the overall smooth running of the deviation system.

• Monitor the manufacturing process/documentation/computerized system to meet with procedure, GMP and data integrity requirements.
• Monitor and aid the implementation of continuous improvements and process changes.
• Take part in internal and external audit, be responsible for audit response and implementing improvement.
• Coordinate QA activities including deviation/OOS/complaint management, revision of SOPs, QA routine tasks and new projects.
• Review of batch manufacturing records and the process of manufacture, make the decision to release/reject the product in compliance with all licenses and GMP requirements.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in technical field, better major in pharmacy, food science, chemistry etc.
• Minimum 5-year experience in pharmaceutical industry or a medical device. Personnel with work experience in QA or QC will be preferred.
• ​Thorough knowledge of national and international GMP requirements.
• Fluent English in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
