We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Engineer/Analyst to optimize material flow processes within our operations on Irapuato Plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses, designing efficient layouts, and implementing innovative strategies to improve material movement, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency. This role involves working directly with key personnel to take projects from initial concept through final implementation, ensuring compliance with Ford Safety Standards.

Roles & Responsibilidades

• Mediate communication with the MKT agencies to monitor and control Budgets and Invoicings after Ford´s Approval.
• Monitor Payment timings and payment flow with Accounts Payable and Accounting Teams.
• Control expenses and ensure they stay within the approved budget.
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual expenses, reporting discrepancies and proposing adjustments.
• Support the preparation of periodic financial reports for the marketing area.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand needs and schedule expenditures.
• Participate in the review and validation of proposals and contracts related to communications activities.
• Manage invoice control by purchase orders together with the budget manager, ensuring knowledge and compliance with payment terms by supplier in the following categories:
  • Media
  • Production
  • Promotional Materials
  • Display & Events
  • Pre-Production Units
  • Agency Fees
  • e-Commerce
• Carefully review invoices to ensure they contain all required elements according to Mexican tax regulations for proper application.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies regarding budget management.

• Parts Sales Tracks
• Parts Performance Reports
• Supporting Parts and Service data analytics

This position reports to Engineering Manager of Wholesale CRM.

The Tax Technology Analyst position offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated professional with a diverse skill set. The core fundamental requirement involves knowledge of tax processes, system architecture/operating procedures, testing protocols, implementation standards, monitoring and reporting. In addition, knowledge of Company information security policies, tax applications, and technology trends is desirable. This position is an integral component needed to continuously develop and maintain the integration of the global Tax Office structure relating to technology, process, data, and controls. In addition, communication skills are required to assist with interacting with vendors, coordinating with Ford internal IT, working closely with all global Tax Transformation Office, aligning tax technology strategy and general IT related functions.
