The role is pivotal in driving market-facing activity, originating net new business, generating sales, and deepening relationships with key clients and alliance partners. Your key responsibilities

  • Align with Global Industry Alliance Leads to identify priority clients and execute on go to market opportunities and drive sales
  • Originate net new deal flow while maintaining and expanding relationships with key buying influences across Alliances, big bets, and Premier and Strategic accounts
  • Act as a subject matter expert for a dedicated Alliance, industry, or account, ensuring offerings are effectively leveraged to enhance client service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite in our Alliances and clients to increase revenue share
  • Develop and deploy sales strategies in service of the Service Lines and Super Regions and interlocking through industry, to achieve a global sales target
  • Lead early-stage deal pursuits, co-develop the pursuit strategy and transition them to account teams for closure
  • Be global exemplars of co-sell with our ecosystem partners
  • Build and nurture relationships with sector and account teams of alliance partners to drive joint engagement and ownership of opportunities
  • Support and contribute to account planning, including joint planning sessions with alliance partners and big bet leads
  • Understand the portfolio of key alliance solution offerings and differentiators
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns and participate in quarterly business reviews
  • Ensure alignment of alliance and big bet strategies with broader account planning and execution
  • Develop an understanding of the strategic investment levers available from alliances to support opportunities
  • Track and report on pipeline development and deal progression using internal systems

Quality Manager – Africa Tax

Your role will focus on further strengthening and innovating our existing processes, whilst enabling sustainable growth and consistent high-quality service delivery to our clients.

You will be required to:

  1. Engage with leaders across our Africa business.
  2. Provide consultation support for pursuit governance and engagement quality controls.
  3. Support quality, independence and risk management programmes and processes.
  4. Innovate existing processes, in response to our rapidly changing environment.
  5. Team with a wide stakeholder group across service lines, competencies, functions and geographies.
  6. Guide teams on best practice service delivery methods, tools and practices.
  7. Interpret and apply EY Service Quality policies.

Your key responsibilities

The responsibilities listed in this document are not exhaustive and are flexible to accommodate the needs of the business, Africa Quality Projects and overall Firm requirements.

Amongst other things your role will include:

  • Managing business risk through driving compliance to firm risk management policies and procedures, whilst achieving an appropriate balance between risk and control.
  • Designing and implementing effective processes for the monitoring and management of compliance with the firm risk and quality management processes in the business.
  • Enhancing and innovating the Africa Tax Service Line's current processes, promoting sustainable growth and ensuring clients consistently receive high-quality services.
  • Support the Tax Quality Leader’s and other Tax Quality Managers.
  • Supports strategic projects aimed at simplification of the firm’s quality and risk management policies and processes.
  • Facilitates Global Tax Quality Reviews and Local internal quality reviews.
  • Provides teams with best practices methodologies, tools and practices for service delivery.
  • Spearheads key quality and risk management programmes and procedures.
  • Improves existing procedures considering the continually changing environment.
  • Collaborates with diverse stakeholders across service lines, competencies, functions and locations.
  • Develops controls and governance and identifies, evaluates and manages tax-related risk.
  • Advises engagement teams on tax quality-related issues.
  • Aids in the creation of local policies and the implementation of global policies.
  • Creates routine Tax Quality alerts and similar publications.
  • Supports the maintenance of Tax Quality databases.
  • Assist in supporting the near shore Regional Delivery Centre based in Mauritius.

Your key responsibilities

  • Align with Global Industry Alliance Leads to identify priority clients and execute on go to market opportunities and drive sales
  • Originate net new deal flow while maintaining and expanding relationships with key buying influences across Alliances, big bets, and Premier and Strategic accounts
  • Act as a subject matter expert for a dedicated Alliance, industry, or account, ensuring offerings are effectively leveraged to enhance client service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite in our Alliances and clients to increase revenue share
  • Develop and deploy sales strategies in service of the Service Lines and Super Regions and interlocking through industry, to achieve a global sales target
  • Lead early-stage deal pursuits, co-develop the pursuit strategy and transition them to account teams for closure
  • Be global exemplars of co-sell with our ecosystem partners
  • Build and nurture relationships with sector and account teams of alliance partners to drive joint engagement and ownership of opportunities
  • Support and contribute to account planning, including joint planning sessions with alliance partners and big bet leads

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $257,100 to $509,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $308,600 to $578,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
