Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Assemble SAP-specific resources and expertise from across the firm to develop new, innovative offerings that address client needs in SAP transformation, including S/4HANA implementations, cloud migrations, and intelligent automation.

  • Possess deep understanding of all stages and aspects of the SAP delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, development, integration, testing (unit, system, and user acceptance), cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare support.

  • Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities

  • Collaborate on RFP responses

  • Manage economic aspects of engagements and budgets

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor in SAP transformations and positioning SAP solutions to address strategic business needs.

  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, playing an active role in mentoring consultants and developing SAP talent within the organization.

  • Ensure high-quality SAP project delivery by proactively identifying risks, driving engagements to completion, and maintaining a commitment to excellence in SAP implementations.

  • Rapidly translate client SAP transformation needs into effective team structures, assembling and leading teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Communicate complex SAP concepts effectively, breaking down technical challenges into clear and relevant insights for diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment to drive SAP transformation success, working across functional and technical teams to deliver high-value outcomes.

  • Understand the firm’s SAP service offerings and proactively identify opportunities to enhance client value through SAP solutions. relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience

  • Experience leading at least two complex PMOs, but preferably more than 5 complex SAP transformations

  • Understanding of SAP lifecycle, including the SAP Activate methodology

  • Knowledge of key SAP delivery tools, such as SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM, or SAP LeanIX

  • Understanding of iterative, agile and hybrid agile methodologies as they apply to complex SAP transformations

  • A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness to travel to meet client needs and ability to travel internationally; although most of our clients are in the greater Houston area, in some cases, travel may be required up to ~60%

  • Demonstrated ability in workshop facilitation

  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern project management methodologies, such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) or equivalent.

  • Experience driving sales pursuits, leading RFP processes and preparing responses, solution definition and negotiations.

  • Experience in managing large-scale Business Transformation and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations

  • Experience leading teams, managing engagement economics and business development

  • Knowledge of Agile work management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Jira.

  • Minimum 5 years of client facing experience in a professional consulting firm leading and developing other consulting professionals and managing commercial client relationships

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engagement financial planning and/or engagement financial management.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, specifically in the RFP process, including Proof of Concept development, proposal writing, client presentations, pricing, and SOW drafting. The candidate must also be able to identify opportunities to differentiate proposals and create compelling narratives that highlight unique value propositions.

  • Large scale digital solution delivery and sector domain knowledge in one or more industry sectors (Power and Utilities, Life Sciences, Oil and Gas, Consumer, Finance, etc.)

  • Willingness to travel to meet client obligations

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Approximately 7 + years’ experience working in large scale, complex programs

  • Demonstrated understanding of the SAP solutions and different variations of SAP applications (e.g. ERP, CIS, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to drive long term lasting relationships with your clients, colleagues and industry

  • Demonstrated thought leadership in a relevant domain

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the IT and program governance challenges related to large systems development and/or implementation projects

  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $148,900 to $340,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $178,700 to $386,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
