Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender for Office.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance frameworks, and information security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Your key responsibilities

In the role of Application Security Lead, you will lead a team that manages development platforms, security tools, respond to service request tickets, automates processes, deploy and configure code review tools, and integrate security measures within CI/CD pipelines. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the team, coordinate operations, and as needed, contribute to managing development platforms and tools are secure and resilient, operational efficiency through automation, and security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. This includes integrating tools into the development lifecycle, automating manual processes, migrations, and collaborating with developers to implement secure coding practices. You will enable development the teams to identify and mitigate risks early in the development process while maintaining operational efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the operations of Application Security and development tools, including Rally, GitHub, SonarQube, GitHub Advanced Security, JFrog Artifactory, Xray, and Tines for automation.
  • Oversee the creation and resolution of operational tickets related to these tools, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs.
  • Manage the upgrading and patching of self-hosted versions of Artifactory, SonarQube, and GitHub, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
  • Regularly update Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) to the latest versions each month to maintain optimal performance and security.
  • Create and update operational metrics to be presented in weekly client meetings, providing insights into tool performance and operational efficiency.

Education:

  • University/Bachelor’s degree in Tax/Commerce/Business Management or related field.
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2® or PMP, are desirable.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in a professional services firm or large global organization in an advisory role.
  • Considerable experience of operating and influencing across multiple levels of an organization and working with global virtue teams/networks.
  • Project management experience and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programs.
  • Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
  • Understanding of P&L and general firm financials

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $130,900 to $252,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $157,100 to $286,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
