Most of our projects are built in Java but you will also be exposed to different technologies including web (Angular, React, etc), other languages (.NET, python, etc), web/microservices and databases. A key part of innovation is using the right tool for the job so you’ll always have opportunity to learn and leverage new technology as it comes out such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and data analytics. Most of our work is specifically aimed at accelerating and enhancing software testing. Manual testing can be inefficient and many of today’s complex systems and technologies can’t be tested manually.   • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.

Job Title: Fullstack Engineer – Service Delivery Senior Analyst

As an FSO Technology Senior Analyst, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

The goal is to support our clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions. You will assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy distributed software applications. You will deliver high qualify systems with focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.You will demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.


Skills and attributes for success

  • Prior fullstack software product development experience with a preferred understanding of DevOps and its supporting services and tools
  • Deliver engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing; based on a proven agile methodology.
  • Demonstrate hands-on technical capabilities inmultiple programming languages.
  • Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
  • Demonstrate understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in technology software development
  • Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure
  • Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design
  • Experience in designing, building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience building applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture. Includes experience with IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
  • Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques
  • Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with the following technologies
    • Akka/Scala

As a Tax Senior, you’ll see this first hand by being immersed in the evolving tax environment through preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing staff on your engagement teams.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll spend your time supporting client engagements by reviewing staff work product, coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics. You’ll also be tasked with identifying and resolving tax technical issues, as well as sharing insights that will improve our processes and overall efficiency. In this role, you can expect to be prioritizing and handling a wide range of constantly evolving responsibilities.

  • Providing our clients with domestic federal tax advice and guidance tailored to their unique needs
  • Keeping up to date with ongoing trends and changes to legislation that will affect planning activities
  • Supervising high-performing teams and sharing your experience and knowledge of leading-practices

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately three years of related work experience.
  • Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status
  • A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools
  • The ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects, and the confidence to engage and integrate directly into our clients’ teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment
