Your Key Responsibilities

You will work for public clients, especially in the areas of digitalization, optimization and organization design. You will support and accompany projects from strategy development to implementation at federal, regional and local level.You will take on a wide range of tasks:

  • You lead the project-based consulting of national as well as regional institutions and facilities in the public sector
  • You lead our interdisciplinary engagement team and ensure that they have a thorough understanding of our clients' unique needs, goals and expectations
  • You will be responsible for performance management, identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes and supporting market development
  • You advise our clients on the analysis of existing challenges as well as the implementation of correspondingly complex solutions, concepts and models that serve as a basis for political and economic decisions
  • You develop options for action in strategic and operational decision-making processes with the help of international standards and multidimensional models.

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in economics and social sciences or a law degree and are passionate about topics in the field of public sector, digitalization, optimization and organization design
  • You have at least 8+ years of professional experience in one of the following areas: Public Administration, Digital Transformation, Energy, Environment, Mobility – in an advisory role for the public sector
  • You have experience within business development
  • You impress with your pronounced flexibility and openness to new, varied challenges
  • You work precisely, in a structured and independent manner
  • You have strong analytical skills and a quick grasp of things
  • You are a team player with commitment
  • You like to take on responsibility and have already gained experience in managing projects and leading project teams

Key Responsibilities

You will spend your time executing accounting related engagements by coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics. You will be assisting clients in their financial accounting processes, period-end closings, assistance in completing external audits, financial statements preparation, general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects. You will also be responsible for management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health and competitors’ analysis.

As part of a MENA team, you will be providing high quality services to clients across a range of industries. Key responsibilities

You will work hand in hand with our tax and accounting professionals to help deliver our clients’ compliance and reporting needs. You will also establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients to help ensure that the services delivered are of the highest standards and are done on time.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, partake in the necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, escalate issues as appropriate and follow performance-improvement solutions.

In addition to the above, you will be supporting the team in marketing and business development initiatives to grow our GCR client base in the region. You are also expected to support GCR proposals by providing assistance on fee gathering for corporate income tax, indirect tax, statutory accounts preparation, and bookkeeping.
