Your key responsibilities

  • Customer Relations – support the relevant stakeholders in understanding, managing, and achieving customer expectations.
  • Project Execution – take ownership of the Engineering activities on all allocated work packages and proactively utilize methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard.
  • Project Management – provide the necessary information to relevant stakeholders & ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk for the allocated work.
  • Communications – ensure that team members, inclusive of any third parties, are provided with all necessary and relevant information – details of scope, schedule, technical specifications, and quality standards – to effectively deliver their allotted work.
  • Scope control – fully understand the scope of work within their portfolio, ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the relevant Lead Engineer is fully informed, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
  • Quality control – ensure that all Engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved.

Your key responsibilities

To continue to grow EY’s successful CPD business, we are currently hiring Project Managers & Assistant Project Managers with an engineering or construction related background.

  • Working directly with EY’s infrastructure clients (across our focus sectors; energy, water, transport, gas, telecoms, housing, and healthcare) to help create innovative insights and solutions to meet their needs.
  • Advising clients on the challenges relating to the delivery of capital projects and programmes
  • Project set-up and mobilisation, defining the operating model and delivery strategy.

    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex programmes.

Within EY CBS Marketing, you will have your finger on the pulse for all major activities and growth areas for the firm. Supported by the wider team, you will play an integral role in bringing our service offerings to life through our website content and marketing activities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Overall project and timeline management of EY website growth drivers. Ensuring timely project plans and workflow scheduling for the digital team and across the EY Markets team, bringing digital website projects (campaign launches, content uploads) to close in a timely manner.
  • Manage, edit, optimise and maintain all content on ey.com/ie, with support from our page-building team
  • Manage the site taxonomy and structure to provide an optimum user experience and support lead generation
  • Lead our site development, growth, and inbound pipeline/lead generation activities through integrated website campaign planning, UX and User journey mapping.
  • Manage and guide our website page builder with content optimisation, tagging, and SEO for increased search rankings while also being a mentor for growth and development within the team from a website perspective.
  • Oversee our lead generation campaign activity via the EY Ireland Website: management of the contact forms, CTA’s and guiding on the best user experience and tool integration.
  • Oversee the schedule of global thought leadership content (in association with our Content team)
  • Measure, analyse and report on website performance
  • Oversee and amplify relationships between the site and social media platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing or equivalent
  • 5+ year’s experience in website management, incorporating lead generation and SEO experience is crucial for this role. A commercial background is desirable (ideally in a B2B background)
  • Experience of AEM, Adobe Analytics, Marketo or similar CRM system would be advantageous
  • Experience in data analysis to help improve performance and influence the website strategic roadmap
  • Experience editing and optimising content for user search and increased traffic and mapping user journeys and personas
  • Excellent stakeholder management in order to gain support for site strategies and editorial standards from senior stakeholders

Your key responsibilities

To continue to grow EY’s successful CPD business, we are currently hiring Project Managers & Assistant Project Managers with an engineering or construction related background.

  • Work directly with EY’s infrastructure clients to help create innovative insights and solutions to meet their needs
  • Work with generation and transmission companies, government, and other infrastructure developers to deliver large scale capital projects in the offshore marine environment
  • Advise clients on the challenges relating to the delivery of capital projects and programmes
  • Project set-up and mobilisation, defining the operating model and delivery strategy
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that all project deliverables are managed to time, cost and quality
  • Ensure that project plans, project logs (E.g., Risks, assumptions issues, dependencies logs) and project budgets are managed effectively
  • Delivery of major project/programme activities throughout the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to project close
  • Integrate data to inform insights by sharing technical, sector and market knowledge in their area of expertise
  • Appl knowledge, experience, and expertise to shape services to clients with limited direction, including development of high-quality work products and presentation of project outputs, as required
  • Participate in and as required, acting as the lead on small engagements or work-streams
  • Assess the maturity of programme management and/or operations of an infrastructure or capital programme and where required implementing recommendations to improve that maturity
  • High quality business writing and ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, (including senior management team), via meetings, presentations, and reports
  • Continuous development and improvement of processes and procedures within the team

Internal Responsibilities

  • Assist in client account management activities such as recruitment for the project team, managing financial aspects of client engagements, and quality and risk management
  • Build valued relationships with clients and colleagues to assist in generating new business opportunities for EY
  • Provide a supporting role in presentations and proposals for elements of medium to high complex projects to prospective and existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with EY senior management and working to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams
  • Understand all our service offerings and actively identifying opportunities to better serve clients
  • Build strong internal relationships within Consulting and across other service lines
  • Support team development activities, including:

- Coaching, and mentoring activities

- Conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback

Skills and attributes for success:

  • 3rd level educational qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field
  • Assistant Project Manager – Approx. 3-6 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Project Co-ordinator delivering engineering capital projects
  • Project / Programme Manager – Approx. 6 -20 years’ experience delivering large scale engineering capital projects in line with the responsibilities outlined above

Ideally you will also have:

  • Offshore/Marine delivery experience
  • Experience in consulting or similar client facing role
  • Multidisciplinary experience including project management, engineering design, contract management and procurement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex programmes
  • Good understanding of project governance and change management principles
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2® or PMP, are desirable

Your key responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will have relevant technical qualifications, and strong interest in commercial and procurement matters as they relate to Public Procurement and Capital Projects & Infrastructure.
  • Senior Procurement Advisors will be required to work closely with other members of the EY team and Clients to advise on procurement strategy and procurement execution across a number of major capital projects.
  • Work directly with EY’s infrastructure clients to provide best in class advice, guidance, and specialist procurement knowledge to ensure that competitive processes are aligned with the capacity and capability of the market, are comprehensive, and are fully compliant with Irish and EU public procurement rules, guidelines, and regulations as applicable.
  • Support all aspects of procurement for our Capital Projects & Infrastructure Clients including the development and implementation of the procurement strategies, identifying procurement needs, developing procurement plans, managing a variety of competitive processes, reviewing supplier performance and negotiation of contracts
  • Conduct market analysis to asses, capacity and capability of contracting organisations and the supply market to meets the needs of the buying organization
  • Build and maintain positive and effective relationships, providing in-depth professional advice on procurement and sourcing strategies, the application of relevant policies, guidelines, and legislation
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop contract management plans aligned with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Co-ordinate the contract formation process, including reviewing, and negotiating contracts with our client’s contractors and vendors.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, working closely with project stakeholders to proactively address issues and minimise disruption

  • Suitable experience in public procurement, contract management and/or administration (in the construction sector)
  • Industry exposure to and knowledge of significant capital investment projects with experience of project delivery under the public procurement regime
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplined team and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions
  • Initiative and decision-making skills to prioritise tasks and drive results
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Previous experience of applying stringent compliance standards in a procurement function while managing the execution and documentation of tender processes
  • Be able to identify and meet targets and savings through optimising procurement strategies

Ideally, you will also have

  • Experience in consulting or similar client facing role
  • Previous Public Procurement experience inf the Construction sector
  • Knowledge of UK, Irish & EU Public Procurement rules and guidelines
  • Multidisciplinary experience including project management, contract management and procurement.
  • Thorough understanding of public procurement principles and practices, including contract administration, risk management, change management and dispute resolution.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
