As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will deliver technical solutions to address customers’ varying needs, either working on your own or with a subject matter expert on more complex solutions.
•Understand the Dell Technologies portfolio and explain how complex multi-faceted solutions will benefit the overall business of the customer
•Provide expert guidance and direction to the core Sales team by utilizing strategic probing to identify, evaluate and recommend highly complex alternative technology solutions
•Achieve or exceed targets by selling solutions and developing strong relationships with our partners and distributors
•Execute sales campaigns accurately and promptly•An in-depth understanding of IT technology products and services

•Experience in a technical sales role
•Good analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
•Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, and outstanding customer relationship skills
•Bachelor’s degree in business management, IT or a related discipline.

• Deliver product demonstrations to enable customer’s success leveraging Dell Client Technologies

• Supportive of customer engagements via onsite and/or virtual meetings (some travel required)

Essential Requirements

•Experience in Information Technology areas comprising any of the following:

Systems Administration/Integration, Professional Services/Consulting, Hands-on experience with End-User environments including deploying desktops, building servers, or 4+ years of technical business-related pre-sales experience.

• Ability to prioritize and balance your schedule in a flexible work environment

Exceptional written/spoken communication skills with an ability to simplify the complex into the more simple.


Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Citrix, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Server OS 2012/2016, or Windows 10 experience (Technical Certification a plus)

• Systems Management experience

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work with a highly skilled technical team that provides the highest level of support for our ProSupport and Premium customers in Australia and New Zealand with an outstanding end to end experience.

You will

  • Provide over the phone first-level technical hardware and software support on Dell supplied products, peripherals and applications
  • Use troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify and resolve customers technical issues
  • Assume a proactive role in technical support call avoidance by identifying common problems and documenting resolutions
  • Actively engage with our customers in all aspects through to problem resolution, keeping the customer informed and updated throughout the life of the incident
  • Delight customers and be their greatest advocates through simplifying the customer experience


Essential Requirements:

  • You have completed yourBachelor's degree within the past 12 months
  • Customer relationship skills and first-rate customer focus, phone etiquette, and work ethic
  • Attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with calmness and composure
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills using operational and diagnostic procedures
