  • Lead and coach a team of 6+ high-performing Strategic Account Executives , each responsible for driving growth and retention within Couchbase’s largest and most complex customer relationships.

  • Manage a regional revenue responsibility , ensuring consistent overachievement through strategic planning, rigorous execution, and exceptional customer engagement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, SDR teams, and Partner teams to support multi-threaded relationships and solution delivery across Fortune 1000 accounts.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, coaching, excellence, and collaboration , championing the development of your team’s skills and advancement opportunities.

  • Stay up to date on the Couchbase platform , and guide your team in articulating business value in both Cloud (SaaS) and on-premise environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience , with at least 3 years in a first-line leadership role managing Strategic or Global Account Executives.

  • Proven track record leading teams that consistently exceed targets in complex, high-value account environments.

  • Deep experience selling into Fortune 500 or strategic global accounts , with an ability to navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Experience selling cloud, SaaS, and database or infrastructure technology ; previous success positioning business-critical software in competitive environments.

  • Strong background in sales qualification methods (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.) , pipeline discipline, and deal inspection.

  • Skilled in leading through influence , cross-functional collaboration, and executive communication—internally and externally.

  • Versatility and experience co-selling with partners , cloud providers, and system integrators is highly valued.

  • Ability to analyze data and trends to coach performance, identify opportunities, and evolve strategy.

  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment , with a passion for building, mentoring, and scaling high-performance teams.

Base Pay Range

$204,300 - $210,000 USD

Senior Software Engineer– XDCR (Santa Clara, CA, US)

As a key contributing member of the Cross-Data-Center-Replication (XDCR) development team, you will be responsible for solving technical challenges related to synchronizing large-scale distributed database systems, for both Couchbase Server and Couchbase Capella.   • Sales Operations: Collaborate on KPI frameworks, reporting cadences, process automation, and data integrity to optimize funnel efficiency.
  • Product and PMM Alignment: Provide structured feedback from the frontlines to Product Marketing and Product teams on messaging resonance, market objections, and feature gaps.
  • People Partner Engagement: Work with our people team to drive inclusive hiring, career development programs, and employee engagement across the GTM org.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years managing high-performing SDR or ADR teams
  • 2+ years in a quota-carrying role (SDR, ADR, or AE) with strong outbound success
  • Experience supporting both enterprise and commercial segments
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline through outbound and inbound strategy, process improvement, and coaching
  • Experience in enterprise infrastructure software, ideally in data, cloud, or AI
  • Familiar with Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, and enrichment or intent tools

As a Senior GSI Partner Manager, you will be a business leader, taking ownership, building and executing plans and capabilities. This position is in NY/NJ, TX or CA with US and global travel as required (15-25% travel requirement).

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive and operational-level relationships within assigned GSI accounts.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Define and execute joint GTM strategies with partners including demand generation, marketing campaigns, and sales plays aligned with key industry verticals.
  • Sales Enablement: Train and certify GSI partner teams on product positioning, solution selling, and technical integration of Couchbase.
  • Pipeline Development & Co-Selling: Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify joint opportunities and support co-selling motions.
  • Solution Innovation: Partner with GSIs to build reusable, repeatable solutions and industry offerings using Couchbase.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key KPIs such as partner-led revenue, pipeline generation, certifications, and GTM activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Couchbase sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and partner success.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in partner management, business development, or alliances—preferably with GSIs.
  • Proven track record of building joint GTM strategies and driving partner-sourced revenue.
  • Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in or with high-growth SaaS or database technology companies is a plus.

Base Pay Range

$164,475 - $193,500 USD

  • Own and execute the Strategic Account Sales Franchise Plan across key East Coast territories, ensuring alignment with Couchbase’s go-to-market strategy and enterprise growth targets.

  • Lead and coach a team of 6+ high-performing Strategic Account Executives , each responsible for driving growth and retention within Couchbase’s largest and most complex customer relationships.

  • Manage a regional revenue responsibility , ensuring consistent overachievement through strategic planning, rigorous execution, and exceptional customer engagement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, SDR teams, and Partner teams to support multi-threaded relationships and solution delivery across Fortune 1000 accounts.

  • Drive complex deal cycles from pipeline creation through negotiation and close—guiding reps on opportunity strategy, leveraging MEDDIC or equivalent methodology, and engaging deeply where necessary.

  • Develop and execute pipeline generation and expansion programs , leveraging customer ecosystems, events, digital channels, cloud partnerships, and developer communities.

  • Monitor and report on pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and key performance metrics , while ensuring data integrity across Salesforce and sales tooling platforms.

  • Act as executive sponsor on key strategic deals and relationships , helping reinforce Couchbase’s value proposition at the C-level and unlocking long-term account growth.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, coaching, excellence, and collaboration , championing the development of your team’s skills and advancement opportunities.

  • Stay up to date on the Couchbase platform , and guide your team in articulating business value in both Cloud (SaaS) and on-premise environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience , with at least 3 years in a first-line leadership role managing Strategic or Global Account Executives.

  • Proven track record leading teams that consistently exceed targets in complex, high-value account environments.

  • Deep experience selling into Fortune 500 or strategic global accounts , with an ability to navigate complex procurement processes and multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Experience selling cloud, SaaS, and database or infrastructure technology ; previous success positioning business-critical software in competitive environments.

  • Strong background in sales qualification methods (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.) , pipeline discipline, and deal inspection.

  • Skilled in leading through influence , cross-functional collaboration, and executive communication—internally and externally.

  • Versatility and experience co-selling with partners , cloud providers, and system integrators is highly valued.

  • Ability to analyze data and trends to coach performance, identify opportunities, and evolve strategy.

  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment , with a passion for building, mentoring, and scaling high-performance teams.

  • Must be OK with 50% travel

Base Pay Range

$204,300 - $210,000 USD
