The Global Head of Public Sector Group (PSG) is responsible for the global leadership of banking teams that serve central, state, and local governments, public asset managers, state owned enterprises, and development organizations. The role requires extensive engagement internally and externally, developing and maintaining senior client relationships by understanding clients’ needs and delivering the best of Citi. Job Description

This global leadership role encompasses strategic business development, client relationship management, and thought leadership within the public sector. The individual will be responsible for the following:

• Attract, develop and retain top, diverse Public Sector banking talent. Foster mentorship and talent management globally for all bankers and CCO’s covering PS.
• Develop and execute a client -driven franchise growth strategy that drives sustainable and profitable growth and maintains and extends leadership wallet share position (top #3)
• Lead team in analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities and lead co-development of PS segment specific solutions in partnership with key product areas and other industry groups (Examples: Markets solutions JV and JV with industrials on Defense Financing solutions).
