What you'll be doing
The position is part of an expanding team, whose remit has grown to include Data Governance. Partnering with multiple area’s within Citi, from the Trading and Sales teams to Finance, Risk, and various 2LOD functions. You will:
Create Project/program plans, ensure strong governance to drive implementation, track tasks and work closely with relevant stakeholders. Help to provide input into and drive technology change, process and control framework enhancements.
Analyse and understand data – how it is created and transformed and consumed across other areas of the bank, to ensure effective distribution of Rates data aligned to the Citi Data Governance Policy Standard
Enhance and create controls to support business processes, regulatory or compliance risks or support data governance responsibilities with a goal of driving a robust, efficient and scalable business model across the Rates business.
Work with transformation leads within programs, to provide tracking and reporting status of plan execution to senior governance forums
Understand Citi Enterprise Architecture methodology and help drive effective process ownership within the business
What we need from you
Experience in financial markets or related industry, either in business or support functions preferred
Exposure to interest rate products or other financial markets’ products would be an advantage
Excellent communications skills (written / verbal) at all organisational levels.
Must be an energetic self-starter/able to drive initiative with minimal direction
Experience working with people of different levels across Sales, Trading, COO, Technology, 2LOD, Finance and Risk
Good knowledge of Markets workflows and the trade lifecycle
Ability to analyse data to understand issues, create controls and or provide solution’s
Able to create high quality presentations for Senior Management
Ability to lead / chair meetings, create action plans and ensure follow-ups are delivered
Education
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

What you’ll do
Liaise across the Spread Products business and its supporting functional areas to ensure a robust governance, oversight, and control framework exists and is in line with applicable policies and regulation.
Drive implementation of business-driven and regulatory projects, e.g., assisting in the establishment of new or modified product offerings including processes, booking models, and system infrastructure.
Act as a ‘go-to’ for traders, salespeople, structurers and management.
Assist leadership and stakeholders with achieving business goals and deliveries, perform large data-set analyses, provide metrics and regular progress updates.
Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/or regular business meetings.
Interface with Internal Audit and Compliance, providing materials, addressing queries, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Proactively provide input into and recommend Technology change, process improvements and control framework enhancements.
Partner with global and regional Business Execution teams to ensure alignment of business goals and preparation for regulatory, or other changes.
Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
What we’ll need from you
Working knowledge of Spread Products or other Fixed Income products preferred.
Significant experience in financial markets business or a supporting functional area.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and motivated team player with a “can do” attitude. Proven ability to understand larger processes, with the drive to drill into the details.
Experience working and building relationships in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
Risk oriented: able to identify emerging and crystallized issues, look across, and flag matters requiring escalation.

Disclosures & Disclaimer Management
Support the development of a framework for the ongoing management of client disclosures and disclaimers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement corrective action steps related to the structured communications project to address identified gaps
Collaborate across multiple stakeholders in Markets and across the Clusters to ensure consistent and effective client communication strategies.
Risk Assessment
Evaluate existing Customer Protection & Market Practices- related policies and procedures, identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements to align with current control frameworks.
Executing improvements in the risk assessment framework with a data driven approach to reach the target state.
Conduct deep-dive analyses of emerging risks and control gaps within market practices and customer protection, proposing innovative solutions to mitigate these risks.

The role will have responsibilities for Third-Party Vendor Management. This role is responsible for executing the Enterprise Data Organization business strategy, provide support for strategic initiatives, managing common capabilities, and driving cross-business initiatives to achieve simplification, increased productivity, and efficiency. May manage ad hoc projects as requested.Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the entire end-to-end vendor management lifecycle.
Support Stakeholders and Vendors to coordinate and facilitate Third Party Risk Management activities.
Ensure vendor’s compliance to required policies and regulations (e.g., Third Party Management Policy, Information Security, Continuity of business)
Maintain supplier systems of record, automating and optimizing vendor data sources to be self-service and provide insight for senior management.
Establish new relationships between Citi and its vendors, creating and managing Initial Risk Questionnaires (IRQ) and Third-Party Management Systems (CASP, P2P,GEP)
Review, assess, and act on results of Third-Party Risk Management activities assessments/controls, facilitating and executing planning and pre-contract due diligence activities, contract, ongoing monitoring, and termination.
Provide expert guidance and support on the development of Third-Party Management key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and promulgation of best practices.
Perform reviews of Vendor Lifecycle (Pre-Contract due diligence, post-contract ongoing monitoring) and provide credible challenges to accountable / responsible parties.
Assist with/review results of additional vendor monitoring activities (Adverse results)
Manage Third Party contracts (e.g. Statements of Work) ensure contracts are properly executed and uploaded in the Vendor Contract Management System (GEP) working with Business if re-negotiations are required..
Support Third-Party Risk Management reporting activities as required and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Interface with all third-party stakeholders Third Party Officers (TPOs), Business Activity Owners (BAOs), TP-RAP Support, Supplier Oversight, Third Party Management Team (TPM) and Sector and Regional Third-Party Risk teams and other Citi business stakeholders on a regular basis
Build relationships with vendor contacts that cross regions, sectors, and functions to ultimately ensure third party compliance to Citi policies, contractual obligations, and SLAs.
Review results of third-party risk monitoring activities providing credible challenges to, and quality checks of, such results
Monitor the Key Indicators for the business, including vendor’s performance.
Identify any significant changes for the vendor relationships and trigger the update of Third-Party Risk Assessments
Partner with Vendor Contract Management Team to strategically manage a large portfolio of contracts, facilitating on time renewals, defining strategies, and identifying opportunities to optimize and consolidate services.
Coordinating the search, interview scheduling and execution, selection, recruitment, and on-boarding of external project resources
Effectively communicating with key stakeholders both internal and external
Provide thought leadership to drive supplier optimization and efficiencies based on Vendor risk profiles, performance, and market trends.
Serve as point of contact with vendors and hiring managers.
Complete and update Third Party Risk Management procedures and documentation.
Assist the project manager to procure services from the third parties in compliance with relevant Third-Party Risk Management policies.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in a financial services role
Communications or marketing experience preferred
