  • Manage your sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, and track your progress using sales tools like Salesforce.com.
  • Partner with technical specialists on Proof of Value (POV) deployments to close new business.
  • Build strong customer relationships by listening, understanding needs, and delivering value.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing learning opportunities to develop your sales and product knowledge.
  • Stay curious! Share your enthusiasm for Cisco Spaces at events, on social media, and with your peers.

  • Apply solution-selling methodologies to boost corporate revenue growth, with a proven track record of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities. Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus.

Who You'll Work With

As a Cybersecurity Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for all sales of Cisco Security solutions and services. You must be adept at forging and nurturing new relationships within the customer and partner base through both direct and indirect engagement, driving significant revenue growth while ensuring internal alignment.

Who You Are

  • Skilled in direct touch sales with experience working in a matrixed organization and partnering with others to enhance results.
  • Possess a minimum of 5+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 5+ years dedicated to selling security solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Capable of building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach.
  • Experienced in applying solution-selling methodologies to drive corporate revenue growth, with a history of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities.

This is a Manager level position responsible for leading and executing against Cybersecurity Sales goals for Switzerland in the Security Sales organization.

The Security Sales Lead for Switzerland will lead an organization and management team responsible for country. The Security Leader must possess excellent collaboration skills and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong business partnership with senior leaders across the Cisco sales teams, Cross-Architectural Leaders, Channels and Commercial, Services, Marketing and PR, and other related teams.

  • Responsible for Identifying, developing and implementing key initiatives that align with EMEAR's GSSO Strategy & Execution Priorities
  • Go to Market Sales Model - Leading /coaching teams through transformation with Account Planning/Opportunity Identification, Business Relevant / Customer Value Selling, Business Disciplines, Challenger Sales Strategy
  • Financial Performance - Exceeding bookings goal (by geography, architecture and vertical), leading opex goal, and maintaining forecast accuracy; providing visibility and in depth knowledge into numbers (customer insights, macro/micro trends, consumption models)
  • Team Development - Attracting, developing and retaining high performance Account Team talent (career development, coaching, performance management and hiring).
  • One Winning Team Engagement and Leading Change - Strategically leading and influencing your own team along with a coordinated cross-functional team including the Customer Value Acceleration Team, Services, Capital, Partners, Advanced Technology teams (Collaboration, Enterprise Networks, Data Center), Marketing, and others.

  • The Security Leader will be expected to strategically drive Cisco's end-to-end vision for our customers, as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-8 years management experience, ideal candidate should possess both sales leadership and cross functional/general management experience
  • 5+ years in management roles selling solutions to senior executives at large accounts
  • Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
  • Adept at balancing driven short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.
  • Strong executive presence, and political savviness
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade -- using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead in a matrix-managed team culture.

As Cybersecurity Account Executive you will be responsible for developing and executing Security opportunities withing the DT Group across EMEA, working closely with our sales teams across the Service Provider customer segments.

In this job you will:
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing Cisco clients, work with the Account Teams to qualify opportunities, and priorities activities.
  • Work with the Cisco field sales team to develop a sales plan for the assigned territory.
  • Leverage and nurture the Cisco partner base, work with the Partner sales teams to win new business deals.

  • Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base, working with Cisco field sales and Partner sales teams.
  • Develop deep understanding of Security product capabilities and value proposition, be able to present that in a highly effective manner.
  • Forecast revenue and products, report your sales activities to management.
  • Attend industry forums, tradeshows and events as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • You should come with deep knowledge of Cybersecurity market.
  • You must be able to demonstrate ability to sell in a consultative style, show understanding of customer requirements, discuss solutions, and sell CISCO Security value proposition.
  • You should be effective in recognizing and generating opportunities, delivering technical presentations, as well as closing deals.
  • Experience with security solutions (Next Gen Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Email security, Web security, VPN) and an understanding of the threat landscape is highly desired.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
  • You should be passionate about sales and security.
  • A business diploma/degree is preferred although experience is also valued highly.
