Key Responsibilities:

  • The role represents the Business Users in the Agile ERP team, working closely with Stakeholders to translate User Requirements into Business User Stories and the ‘Who, What, Why’ Acceptance Criteria.
  • Coordinating and liaison with the other Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC BPL’s, SME’s, Communities of Practice’s, IT Solution Architects/COE and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Master Data Domains (Customer, Vendor, Product and Finance).
  • Liaise with the Training team and Site Super Users/BPLs/SMEs to develop training plans for each of the key Applications to enhance the knowledge base across the Master Data workstream (Customer, Vendor, Product and Finance).
  • Collaborate with the broader Magellan team, integrate with the overall Magellan Program Management role, IT Solution Architects/ COE and the other Magellan Workstreams in a Scalable Agile Framework/DevOps methodology, to enable rapid deployment.
  • Building a cross functional, network-wide, team and collaborative matrix organisation, to deliver the Magellan Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Product and Finance) Transformation.
  • Aligning Requirements, monitoring project plans, communicating with Stakeholders, co-ordinating the Requirements, Design, Build and Testing Phase and supporting the network-wide Deployment.
  • Proactively influencing functionally, regionally, in the distribution network and divisional leaders in areas of new concepts, adoption of Best Practice and working to ensure understanding and translation of strategies, goals and the full scope of a Business Transformation initiative and simplify and standardise to best practice across Master Data Business processes and Applications.
  • Review Data Quality rules as part of Data Governance and gather voice-of-customer to ensure the most appropriate and current business rules are observed and monitored
  • Working within the Data Governance framework to ensure accurate and consistent data maintenance across BSC.
  • Using metrics and analysis to hold Data Stewards accountable for their Data Quality
  • Participate in meetings with influence and guide Data Lead SME’s on best practice and CI methodologies
  • Gather voice-of-customer raised by the business in terms of user experience issues, as well as related expectations after issue resolution
  • Investigate reasons for potential data issues and related alternative solutions
  • Analyse, synthesise and communicate data and issues into business language, meaningful and insightful messaging and plans
  • Disseminate best practices and standardisation in Master Data Management across BSC.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to establish processes, procedures and defined roles and responsibilities for master data management.
  • Compile and present summarised progress updates in Integration Call meetings in collaboration with the deployment Data Lead, illustrating current data health, activities, issues and risks along with next steps

Education & Experience:

  • Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science or applicable field required.
  • 3+ years technical professional or operational experience in medical device field required.
  • 3+ years of Systems/Applications experience as BPL/SME
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Informatica and PLM systems and the broader Application Ecosystem, combined with knowledge of key business processes.
  • Previous experience of a major program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/Systems or Business representative role.
  • A proven track record of Continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements and proactive problem solving
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
  • Previous experience of Scaled Agile Project Management an advantage and/or proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supported by AM, contributes to the development of annual strategic plan by providing RSM, NSM and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market / products trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
  • They would normally divide their time between 80/90% Clinical & 20/10% Sales
  • Supports RSM’s in understanding account’s unmet needs and expectations to facilitate account strategy and plans development.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business relationships with Customers
  • Support of medical personnel and field staff during procedures after careful training
  • Competent contact person and consultant for the medical management and medical staff
  • If directed by medical staff, provides support to patients with device programming / optimising device functionality.
  • Identifies, manages and reports to the RSM the sales opportunity deriving from clinical support; consequently, supports AM and RSM in clinical selling based on clinical support information provided.
  • Provides education support.
  • Maintains market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
  • Attends and actively participates in customer, company and industry sponsored events and meetings.
  • Based on clinical support, supports sales team in gathering information about next tenders and negotiation opportunities.
  • Develops and implements a proactive plan that involves service support, with Regional Sales Manager and team members, to increase the quality of service to customers.
  • Works closely with Account Managers to drive sales growth in target accounts and key areas
  • Performs procedural training, provides clinical support and therapy development and consequently manages clinical evaluation, with AM support, to deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations and ultimately secure BSC market share.
  • Records customer information and activities in Company’s CRM system as an alignment tool with other roles
  • Performs periodic update with respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organisation.

Purpose Statement

  • This position is responsible for designing and managing customer agreements and performing detailed analytics by leveraging on available technology.
  • Ultimately responsible for providing strategic business support translating data into insightful information to influence commercial contracting and sales strategy.
  • Be the bridge between FP&A and ComEx teams and align with Central resources.
  • Be the voice of the Division to influence the development of new tools, programs, processes as well as cascade down and drive their adoption.
  • Bring a more rigorous and systematic approach to optimize key business decisions (pricing, profitability/ROI).
  • Optimize and drive the adoption of our key Systems, Tools and Processes (Tableau, Sales Cloud).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with CCMs/KAMs in the assigned geography
  • Develop deal models and scenario analyses related to the overall Commercial Contracting/Sales strategy and the offered programs
  • Complete ad-hoc and routine analytical requests to drive profitable deals and support the Commercial Contracting Managers/KAMs in commercial decision-making (incl. regular reports on GPO / selected customers’ performance, customer P&Ls, deal modelling, waterfalls and other tools to assist in negotiation planning and preparation, customer forecasts in support of AOP, strategic planning and individual objective-setting)
  • Support in driving client commitment and contract compliance by building, maintaining and updating appropriate tools and ensuring a regular review process throughout the life of the deal
  • Integrate new products and services into existing deals (eg: assessing performance impact, aligning Customer Service, reviewing IPAT)
  • Provide regular updates of the relevant Commercial Contracting/Sales KPI measurements, support the QBR process, contribute to the development of Leadership Team presentations (AOP, StratPlan) and any other business review tools
  • Develop, maintain and update any other systems and tools. Train and support business partners in the use of the developed tools, reports and analyses
  • Participate in customer meetings (eg: negotiations, tender process) and provide analytical support throughout the process
  • Liaise with program delivery teams at an operational and local level to monitor implementation and report issues
  • Act as the FP&A interface for the Commercial Contracting/Sales organization in the countries in scope; source data and contributions information to FP&A to support compensation calculations (SIP and SPIFF), based on the relevant BSC guidelines
