Purpose Statement

Primary responsibilities will include data analysis, driving optimization programs with local business leads and customers, leveraging existing global tools and data sources.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support inventory management activities (count schedule, tools and progress monitoring);
  • Process and analyze cycle count data leveraging company tools, Microsoft Excel and ERP system;
  • Create, maintain and share ad hoc reporting on expiry scrap, inventory discrepancies and optimization programs;
  • Monitor relevant KPIs;
  • Support and guide new product launches and transitions;
  • Support roll-out and adoption of existing and new field inventory management tools;
  • Analyze field inventory landscape – identify priorities and opportunities for optimal balance between required service and cost (expiry scrap, inventory levels);
  • Build relationship with divisional business unit managers, hospital staff and other functional stakeholders;
  • Ensure compliance to company policies;
  • Process orders coming in via fax, e-mail or telephone and for customers according to specific requirements.
  • Monitor the complete delivery processes (e.g. Distribution Center and/or carrier).
  • Handle service complaints from customers and/or sales representatives.

About the Role
The Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) provides field/remote clinical, technical and educational support to assigned accounts at a Territory, Regional, National or EMEA level.

Working with the electrophysiology (EP) portfolio, this role covers the North London region with travel for case support as and when required by client needs. Work is driven by Customer demand and pre-planned support requirements, and the primary focus is with case support, using clinical expertise to influence Customer usage of the full portfolio.

This remote field-based role offers a permanent position and requires extensive travel across the North London region (approx. four days per week).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage and basic troubleshooting for company products.
  • Work is driven by Customer demand and pre-planned support requirements and may require occasional weekend work.
  • Attend cases in-person/remotely with our customers and advise physicians on clinical attributes/techniques associated with our products.
  • Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to our procedural device operation.
  • Support the team to achieve projected sales goals and increase sales revenues.
  • Develop a deep understanding on the workflows and specificities of each hospital and business relationships with healthcare personnel (e.g. through informal conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in hospital departments and to identify key decision makers.
  • Respond to complex customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Record customer information and activities in company’s CRM system: use the system as an alignment tool with other commercial roles.
  • Provide education support on product usage and customer training.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the North London region.
  • This remote field-based role requires frequent weekly travel (approx. four days per week) based on customer needs.
  • On occasion, you may be required to support other colleagues and clients in South UK as and when needed.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required based on customer needs.

What are we looking for in you:

  • Clinical experience within Electrophysiology (EP) or Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), e.g., as a Field Clinical Specialist, Cardiac Physiologist, or similar.
  • Successfully completed degree studies (or equivalent) within Biomedical Sciences or healthcare subject is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Can understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Can rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, can build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and can influence others.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system/software development.

  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.

  • We are open to welcoming newly graduated Biomedical students or professionals with experience in a similar role, preferably within the Electrophysiology area.

Working in our Rhythm Management division, you will be working daily in hospital Cath Labs or operating rooms supporting Health Care Professionals during procedures as well as engaging with clinical stakeholders to promote and train them on our products.   • Proactively builds knowledge of the market you operate in, the territory or region, and how it influence customers

Skills and competencies required

  • Be a recent Bachelor or Master graduate (2024/2025) with a Biotechnical, Biomedical, Scientific Degree or Nursing qualification covering elements of the Heart/Cardiology
  • Be fluent in English
  • Hold a current driving license
  • Be willing to travel across UK or Europe and be away for up to a week at a time.
  • Analytical and proactive mindset who is a team player with good communication skills
  • Flexibility mindset regarding working hours (daily changing agenda)

  • Complete ad-hoc and routine analytical requests to drive profitable deals and support the Commercial Contracting Managers/KAMs in commercial decision-making (incl. regular reports on GPO / selected customers’ performance, customer P&Ls, deal modelling, waterfalls and other tools to assist in negotiation planning and preparation, customer forecasts in support of AOP, strategic planning and individual objective-setting)
  • Support in driving client commitment and contract compliance by building, maintaining and updating appropriate tools and ensuring a regular review process throughout the life of the deal
  • Integrate new products and services into existing deals (eg: assessing performance impact, aligning Customer Service, reviewing IPAT)
  • Provide regular updates of the relevant Commercial Contracting/Sales KPI measurements, support the QBR process, contribute to the development of Leadership Team presentations (AOP, StratPlan) and any other business review tools
  • Develop, maintain and update any other systems and tools. Train and support business partners in the use of the developed tools, reports and analyses
  • Participate in customer meetings (eg: negotiations, tender process) and provide analytical support throughout the process
  • Liaise with program delivery teams at an operational and local level to monitor implementation and report issues
  • Act as the FP&A interface for the Commercial Contracting/Sales organization in the countries in scope; source data and contributions information to FP&A to support compensation calculations (SIP and SPIFF), based on the relevant BSC guidelines
