The primary focus of the Digital Services and Operations Management (DSOM) Growth Sales Leader is to grow market share by accelerating our SaaS business. In this position you will be working together with the Geo Sales Leadership to drive sales, as well as with the Product Leadership team in driving the strategy for the DSOM solutions.

โ€ข Lead ACV & Total bookings for DSOM in the region
โ€ข Provide accurate and dependable DSOM revenue projections to the senior management including forecasting
โ€ข Aggressively target new logos in the EMEA region
โ€ข Transform the DSOM solution sales team through continuous field enablement to deliver on the DSOM portfolio
โ€ข Drive Pipeline Generation efforts & initiatives
โ€ข Present DSOM Vision & Strategy to CXOs and Analysts
โ€ข Being actively involved in recruitment and talent attraction to BMC
โ€ข Engage with key DSOM customers on senior level to support sales cycles
โ€ข Represent customer needs to the Business Unit and provide feedback to keep improving DSOM portfolio and evolving to serve our customers.
โ€ข Manage multiple sales motions to include: new logo, additional capacity, and migrations
โ€ข Lead by example with the highest integrity and ethics
โ€ข Effectively communicate to your team a vision aligned with the organization's mission, strategy and direction
โ€ข Take an active role in developing strong relationships with your ecosystem (peer Managers/Solutions Engineering Managers/Corporate Functions)
โ€ข Ensure customer satisfaction remains high and develop referenceable clientsโ€™ interaction.

As an experienced mainframe person, you will be part of a team that has been acknowledged as an industry leader. You will help our clients grow their business by providing configuration, and conversion work for the BMC DevX Code Pipeline source code management product.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Works interactively with all project staff, both BMC internal and Customer.
  • Performs and coordinates the Configuration, Migration, and Implementation activities of BMC Code Pipeline (ISPW) Change Management Software.
  • Contributes to Customer ready design documentation to support all Functional requirements, Technical Solution Design, Test Strategy and Deployment Plans
  • Advises on updates to the Project or Service Schedule to the Project Manager, Practice Lead or Service Delivery Manager
  • Recognizes customer requests that fall outside scope of the SOW or any new opportunities and brings it to the attention of the Project Manager/Practice Lead for further review.
  • Successfully moves Customer into production on the target BMC solution, transitioning the project to closure with both the customer and BMC teams.

To ensure youโ€™re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • 7+ relevant years mainframe technical experience as a Mainframe Source Code Management expert:
  • Strong experience in TSO, USS, JCL, REXX, ISPF skeleton processing
  • 5+ years working in a support role (Development Support or Operations Analysis)
  • Knowledge of compilers, binder, code release techniques (bind, phase-in)
  • Consultative skills with customers, contractors when driving deliverables and setting priorities
  • A self-starter, willing to work in a geographically dispersed team, with a proven ability to meet assigned timelines with high quality, complete deliverables in unsupervised, often remote, situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently supporting different phases of implementation projects.
  • Have experience with competing products in the marketplace

Desirable Experience:

  • Mainframe Source Code Management expertise as administrator
  • Additional Langages a plus (Italian, Spanish)
