You will become an expert in Cloud and Cybersecurity.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Growing revenue and acquire new business by evangelizing Akamai's technology to existing and prospective customers.
  • Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.
  • Engaging with customers during the sales-cycle to gather requirements and develop proposals, design, delivery, demo's and proof-of-concepts.
  • Collaborating with internal Stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships by becoming the go-to person for technical queries.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience in a technical pre-sales/sales engineering, consulting, or customer facing role delivering technical products or services.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in Cloud and Internet technologies, including security solutions, compute, content delivery and web architecture (DNS,HTTP,TCP/IP,TLS).
  • Have interpersonal savvy, a passion to solve problems, and a customer focused mindset.
  • Have a thirst for learning and embracing new technologies.
  • Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.
  • Be fluent in both Swedish and English

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, prospecting and penetrating prospect and customer accounts to achieve opportunity and pipeline targets.
  • Setting qualified introductory meetings for aligned account executives while nurturing early stage pipeline.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing colleagues in region to optimize demand generation and pipeline development.
  • Leveraging industry-leading tools, including Salesforce, Salesloft, Drift, LinkedIn and more to maximize productivity.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have entry- level related industry work experience or be able to demonstrate relevant, equivalent sales experience.
  • Have experience identifying business needs through information-gathering to pre-qualify opportunities.
  • Be comfortable speaking with decision makers, including C-level via various mediums (social, email, phone and video).
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Salesloft or similar sales productivity tools.
  • Enjoy working in a diverse team with a desire to grow in the organisation.
  • Have deep verbal and written communications skills; fluent in Swedish and English
