As Senior Manager Product Costing Footwear, you are Contributing to the Brand growth and profitability by gaining a full understanding of its business potential, anticipating requirements, proposing cost-based solutions to achieve Brand adidas objectives. You will be responsible to drive the overall costing performance of the Business Unit through implementation of Global Footwear Costing process and standards, assuring product cost value maximizing and company go-in margin targets are met by leading and guiding the Creation teams to optimize landed costs through a clear understanding of cost driver trends and product engineering opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide product costing expertise during product creation cycles to advise on key cost drivers and options to maximize product value and costs to meet margin targets
• Provide technical costing expertise to enable design for manufacturing, facilitating conversations to maximize product cost value with cross-functional teams
• Create margin report at each of milestone and analysis gaps. Drive follow up with leaders, development, and product line manager for any variation’s vs target margin/FOBs.
• Contribute to the enhancement of systems and process to ensure costing requirements are met and to improve costing performance
• Increase awareness and understanding for cost process within organization through effective communication and training
• Drive & Implement projects to enhance Costing processes & framework in collaboration with Brand & Operations
• Actively Participate in Sourcing meetings, sharing BU challenges & opportunities, to find solutions
• Influence allocation decisions, by creating transparency of landed cost optimization
• Ensure costing standards, policies and & practices are shared, followed accurately from start to finish while following established timelines and calendars.
• Prepare & communicate additional analysis as required, Cost driver trend / FOB & Margin analysis
• Ability to bridge financial data
• Contribute to long term financial margin planning and FOB forecasting for Business Unit
• Drive Senior Leadership Costing and Margin review meeting, preparing relevant executive summaries
• Strategically manage globally assigned cost drivers and develop an E2E costing
• Ensure all relevant costing systems are maintained, partnering with relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive innovation, ensuring transparency of cost and maximizing product value

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of cost drivers and experience working with engineering, supply chain and sourcing partners
• Strong knowledge of sporting goods industry, specializing in product costing, product development, or marketing
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to provide proactive solutions with limited direction and input
• Highly collaborative with solid change management skills
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people
• Advanced MS Office Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point).
• Excellent communication skills in English, convincing stakeholders up to the senior leadership level
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in footwear technology, manufacturing, engineering or business, or technical degree as footwear technician
• Alternatively, combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Product Costing

Shift available:
B Shift - Thursday - Saturday, 6am-6pm
Performs a combination of production tasks including loading/unloading manual or powered machinery, positioning work, setting up and tearing down jobs, and adjusting and operating machinery. Observes machine processing for proper functioning and production of products. Loads and unloads materials, products, deliver stock to designated work areas, and cleans machines and work areas as required.
• Operate manual or powered machinery to assist in the production process
• Assemble materials and equipment as required
• Utilize small tools as needed or required to complete tasks
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Load raw materials to machines, unload finished product
• Transport raw materials and finished goods from one place to another
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
• Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
• Operate hand and power equipment for material handling as needed
• Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
• Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas as well as both buildings
• Participate in training new team members.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
• work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures

and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day
