  • Identify root causes of data issues (source vs system) and work with relevant stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Prepare reports and update progress on partner data coverage and accuracy metrics
  • Extract and analyze data to measure retail performance, particularly on net sales growth and productivity growth

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel and similar)
  • Experience with data validation, database management, and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • 2-3 years of experience in related field

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and root cause analysis capabilities

PUPROSE

  • The Manager, Treasury and Legal Entity Reporting position is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting and forecasting of cash flow and Treasury topics for all NAM (US & Canada).
  • Additionally, this role will be a vital collaborator in the derivation and presentation of key components of the balance sheet and income statement reviews.
  • Furthermore, this position will play a key role in providing reporting expertise across the NAM balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statements.
  • This position will ensure compliance with the Group Finance Manual and IFRS requirements and act as a trusted contact to both internal and external business partners on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the preparation and review of bank and cash flow reconciliations as part of the monthly close process to ensure the Company’s financial records are accurate.
  • Key NAM contributor to the Global Treasury team in Herzogenaurach, Germany, acting as a liaison between HQ and the NAM Finance department.
  • Monitoring adidas NAM cash balances, forecasting cash inflows/outflows and making recommendations as to the optimal use of cash while adhering to internal controls and compliance standards.
  • Participate in work streams or medium-to-large-sized projects or key initiatives as part of the Treasury and Legal Reporting team.
  • Perform relevant reporting tasks and assignments deemed necessary by management

  • University degree in finance, accounting or business OR equivelant combination of education and experience; CPA designation desired.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with Treasury management topics and cash flow implications.
  • Advanced SAP, COUPA, Ariba and Excel skills strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Kids Business Planning

  • Facilitate the development Kids and new business strategic business planning with the focus on building the brand and accelerating commercial success in the market

  • Ensure the Sell in, Sell out, PL is in alignment with the kids and new business SBP as well as finance target

  • Translate the new strategy into clear roadmap(s) with focus on the business model/planning (in collaboration with GCA counterparts)

  • Support monthly rolling forecast, shipment, SWB, take back, cancellation tracking, and database maintenance etc.

  • Work with x-function team to run kids and new business quarterly and monthly business review with action.

Market and business intelligence

  • Identify key markets and competitor trends and evaluate business opportunities. Ensure the implications are considered in planning and decision-making

  • Collate and maintain up to date the provision of relevant Business Intelligence (i.e. consumer data) and benchmarking - both internal and external – to support decision making and performance enhancement

  • Create and distribute regular reports to GCA senior leadership team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
