As Business Developer Adjacent Markets Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Division Mexico you will play a key role for accelerate of demand sell in and sell out with distributors in adjacent markets in the division of Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division Mexico. In this role you will be able to plan and execute strategies that will help us to increase our sales with distributors in adjacent markets.

The impact you will have in this role: ​

• You will lead to increase sales and revenue growth.

• You will drive strategies and activities that will accelerate growth of the division.

• You will implement new tools to reduce churn/erosion with distributors in adjacent markets.

• You will motivate the distributor´s sales team to work more with 3M.

As a Business Intelligence & Category Management Analyst you will play a key role for developing and executing strategies for the specific category of products or services in order to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the division of Consumer Business Group LATAM based on Mexico. In this role you will be able to create new strategies in Consumer Business Group categories and implement innovations for the market.

Job Description:

Tax Analyst, Mexico City

As Mexico Tax Analyst you will play a key role for assisting in ensuring, executing, controlling, and analyzing tax returns and compliance with the applicable law and requirements in Mexico. In this role you will be able to work closely with the tax, finance, business, and accounting teams to provide guidance on tax matters and support the organization's tax operations.

The impact you will make in this role

• Monthly & Annual: IT, VAT & withholdings, electronic accounting, etc., Annual tax report (Dictamen fiscal), Informative: DIOT, DIEMSE, Local File, Master File, Annex 9 DIM, relevant transactions, etc.
• Knowledge of electronic invoicing “CFDI 4.0”
• Participate in regular oversight of the process to continuously improve and ensure efficiency.
• Monitor legislation, conduct tax related research and analysis requiring a general understanding of tax practices and procedures.
• Handle routine and straightforward correspondence with tax authorities.
• Advise on direct tax/transfer pricing matters applicable to routine business transactions, participating in the contract approval process for domestic transactions.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate team members.
• Analyze compliance processes utilizing both tax and/or technical knowledge, to identify tax and work process issues in practice to minimize tax risks.
• Review and analyze tax provisions and accruals for financial statements.
• Provide support on tax-audit issues and identify key opportunities on recurrent tax authorities’ inquiries (formal and informal: invitation letters & e-mails, deep review, SAT releases, etc).

Your Skills and Expertise

qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting o correlated areas.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in taxes.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong command of Microsoft, Excel, Access to cope with big databases.
• Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI and similar data analytics tools is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including networking and teamwork.
