Your Experience

  • 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to Enterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry
  • Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers
  • Experience selling SIEM, EDR or CNAPP (DevSecOps, CloudOps) solutions is highly preferred
  • Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations
  • Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results
  • Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $256,000/yr to $352,000/YR. The Service Provider (MSSP) Solutions Architect will become the center of excellence for specific managed solutions and associated Fortinet portfolio elements. The Service Provider (MSSP) Solutions Architect must be comfortable presenting to executives, technical leaders, and operational level partners and be able to demonstrate managed and multitenant solution concepts and ideas leveraging multimedia tools.


Service Provider (MSSP) Solutions Architect will serve three (3) main areas of responsibility:
1.Technical Offer Development
The Solutions Architect will:
•Provide managed services procurement and deployment support by building offer packages inclusive of technical enablement curriculum, managed solution designs, integration guides, and applicable deployment assets
•Attend partner meetings and provide expert guidance on solutions architecture based on managed services requirements
•Deliver presentations and demonstrations as needed to convey feature and functionality for managed services solutions
•Organize Fortinet assets for partner technical enablement and solution testing, validation, certification, and deployment.


2.Fortinet Product/Solutions Expert
The Solutions Architect will:
•Be or become an expert to Fortinet’s Service Provider community regarding managed and/or multitenant solutions
•Become familiar with competitive managed solutions
•Curate and/or develop technical collateral as needed to support managed solution offer creation
•Interact with other Business Units (BU) inside Fortinet to advance offer development and solution delivery.


3.Partner Training & Enablement
The Solutions Architect will:
•Dedicate time for partner enablement concerning new/existing managed services features and capabilities
•Build technical demonstration environments and scripts to support Fortinet engineers who demonstrate fully managed solutions to Service Provider (MSSP) Partners
•Assist as needed with technical webinars and hands-on demonstrations
•Liaise with the NSE institute to develop advanced course curriculum for managed services based on Fortinet products and/or solutions.


Required Skills
•Ideal candidate should possess at least ten (10) years’ technical expertise from a Senior SE, Consulting SE, Technical Marketing or Solution Architect role within networking, technology infrastructure and/or cybersecurity domains
•Ideal candidate should possess 5-10 years’ experience working directly with/within the Service Provider community to design, build, validate, deploy, and/or operate managed security solutions
•Candidate must demonstrate excellent presentation skills (written and oral)
•Candidate must have experience developing security architecture within a non-production environment, a production environment, and be capable of producing sufficient documentation to enable partners to rapidly deploy managed solutions

Education
•Undergraduate degree (in a technical field of study) or equivalent experience in networking and/or cybersecurity
•Applicable industry certifications desired

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $186,100 - $220,000 per year.
