Job Description

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual COGS forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Consolidate COGS forecasts across 9 factories, providing clear insights to management.
• Develop and maintain forecasting infrastructure, tools, and dashboards to deliver real-time visibility for Business Units, Operations, and Management.
• Drive process and efficiency improvements and streamlining workflows
• Track and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying variances and implementing improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders across Business Units, Product Management, and Finance to support business case, financial analysis and ensuring consistency and integrity of financial plans.
• Consolidate and track weekly factory site cost outlooks, providing timely updates to leadership.
• Coordinate and manage the Finance team’s quarterly forecast schedule to meet corporate deadlines.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required to support decision-making.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling tools; ability to build and manage complex financial models.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems is highly desirable.

  5. Design and document work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process guidelines for manufacturing personnel.
  6. Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  7. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
  8. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues.
  9. Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
  10. Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure proper execution of production processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as initial point of contact and counsel for a variety of legal matters in China (especially Shenzhen site) and other APAC countries, Hong Kong and Taiwan, including sales and marketing, employment, regulatory compliance and litigation.
  • Provide legal guidance in the context of the business to achieve the Company’s goals.
  • Work closely with different functions in China (especially Shenzhen site) and other APAC countries as a trusted legal partner.
  • Provide advice and counsel on a variety of legal issues, including commercial transactions, sales and marketing support, corporate matters, employment related issues, regulatory and litigation.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Identify potential legal issues and risks related to business practices and policies.
  • Partner with internal client groups to respond to legal and compliance issues and find practical solutions that balance risk and business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate legal department members globally to assess and manage legal matters in a consistent manner.
  • Works with supervisor to develop and review internal policies and compliance procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance best practices, supporting the Board and executive management in maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee local litigation, in coordination with the U.S. litigation team.
  • Representing the company before any authorities, tribunals or courts. as may be necessary.
  • Support local investigations, in coordination with HR and the Ethics and Compliance team.
  • Work professionally and productively with outside counsel to maximize the value of counsel’s input and minimize outside counsel fees.
Qualifications
  • LL.B. /LL.M. from a reputable law school. Oversea degree would be an advantage
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant transactional experience in a top tier law firm and in-house legal department with specific focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand potentially complex legal issues and translate into simple and effective guidance for internal stakeholders
  • Ability to find creative solutions to achieve business goals
  • Excellent English oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in (or with) technology companies and/or in the technology industry
  • Comfortable balancing and prioritizing competing/ shifting demands and deadlines from multiple stakeholders
  • Track record of providing high-quality, timely results on a wide variety of commercial matters
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of work and demonstrates the ability to work independently
  • Team player with a strong sense of collaboration with other stakeholders, both within the legal department and cross-functionally.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to understand the company’s business and industry.
  • International experience with a highly regarded top tier law firm essential.
  • Experience of working for a global company (either in house or as a client).
  • Experience in manufacturing/semi-conductor industry is an advantage.

  • Responsible for HDD media new program development, failure analysis and continue improvement;
  • Responsible for HDD media new program Qualification schedule plan and mass production ramp up;
  • Providing correct action for issue we suffer during the new program development state;
  • Product Evaluation DOE for Reliability/DPPM improvement and media level Yield improvement;
  • Define/improve process windows and process knobs to deal with new product introduced to mass production;
  • Deliver a workable media design according to roadmap on time;
  • Work with multinational team to complete assigned media new program in PDT (product development team) required time.
Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Master degree or higher in physics, electronic, microelectronics, electrical engineering, or related discipline;
  • Minimum 7-10 years of recent experience working in sputtering process/thinfilm technology area
  • Excellent engineering and analytical skills;
  • The ability to clearly communicate and document findings;
  • Programming experience, preferably C, C++, python and SQL language;
  • A basic background in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor, including data sheet knowledge of specifications and timings, etc.
  • Willingness to travel abroad for short periods.

PREFERRED:

  • HDD media production experience;
  • Experience in statistic data mining. Proficient in using Analytical tools such as JMP and Minitab;

SKILLS:

  • Sound knowledge on media structure and device physics, manufacture and verification of sputter processes;
  • Experience in sputter thin film;
  • Excellent analytical(JMP, Minitab, Excel) and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent English written, verbal and presentation skills;
  • Be responsible for developing complete media new program whole qualification and ramping up.
