In this role, you will own some key operational costs such as Logistics, Customer Service (CS) and Warranty across both existing and new programs spanning across our Metaverse and Wearables portfolio of Reality Labs. You will get the opportunity to directly lead and influence key stakeholders, assess financial performance and create tremendous impact by continuous process improvement and executing cost savings initiatives. In addition to this, you will also provide analytical support to the team on high visibility and high impact projects.
Finance Associate, Reality Labs Responsibilities
  • Manage all FP&A activities related to Logistics, CS, Warranty and other COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) items for a growing portfolio of RL devices including budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
  • Provide hands-on analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the planning cycles and in monthly reviews, as well as for setting cost targets for new programs
  • Understand, impact, and influence business investment decisions through detailed financial analysis
  • Understand dive into critical cost savings opportunities and long-term strategic implications of agreements
  • Own ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required, and drive process and system improvements by partnering with cross functional owners
  • Develop and enforce best practices and policies to manage these costs
  • Drive data-driven decision making & analysis of product decisions and strategic roadmap investments
  • Create business partnerships with various functions across the Reality Labs (RL)
  • Provide insights to business partners through variance analysis, scenario based modeling and other analytical support as needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Experience with FP&A activities especially around monthly close and forecast processes
  • Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating financial concepts to leadership
  • Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional leaders
  • Experience working with leadership, manage ambiguity and multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • Experience with managing and/or owning costs around inbound and outbound freight
  • Experience in understanding and assessing freight agreements from multiple providers and international freight costs/process
  • Understanding of hardware manufacturing process

This role will also be responsible for providing legal support for market access activities, such as insurance reimbursements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) with membership in at least one U.S. state bar (must also be licensed to practice in state of assigned Meta office)
  • 8+ years of practicing attorney experience, including in-house and/law firm
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, or healthcare industry
  • In-depth knowledge of US and international laws related to medical devices and digital health technologies
Preferred Qualifications

Associate General Counsel - Employment Law & Investigations Responsibilities
  • Advise on the design, implementation, and administration of Meta’s NORAM employee benefits plans, including: tax-qualified retirement plans, health plans, and various welfare and fringe benefits plans (e.g., short and long-term disability - including Voluntary Disability Plans - life insurance, survivor benefits, voluntary benefits, wellness, etc.) and Section 125 cafeteria plans.
  • Draft and maintain applicable plan documents, plan amendments, and summary plan descriptions.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts with third-party administrators and benefit service providers.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel relating to compliance with applicable state and federal retirement and health and welfare laws and regulations such as ERISA, state and federal tax, HIPAA, and ACA.
  • Provide legal counsel to fiduciary committees established to administer Meta’s NORAM employee benefits plans.
  • Monitor legislation, regulations, case law, and government enforcement activities related to the above substantive legal areas, and provide proactive strategic advice to the Employment Law Group and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in creation and delivery of training related to employment and benefit law matters.
  • Support audits, process reviews, and new policy creation and implementation related to any benefits programs.
  • Facilitate process improvements, create efficiencies, and provide trainings as necessary.
  • Flexibility and willing to work extended hours when necessary to connect with colleagues across regions.
  • Travel throughout the US and possibly internationally as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar

Preferred Qualifications
