What you’ll do:
- Articulate theF5 product strategy, messagingand positioning F5’s value proposition and solutions for customer business objectives
- Provide technicalexpertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solutiondemonstrations, proofofconcepts by variousmediums – in-person/virtual presentations, whiteboards etc
- Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure.
- Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager, by identifying the Technical Decision Maker, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship
- Consistently provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle
- Work collaboratively with internal technical andsales resources,share best practices,updates, offer andseek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities.
How you’ll do it:
- Experience with network infrastructure technologies, data center / cloud computing architectures, and how technology components interact at each layer of the OSI model.
- Detailed understanding of Web Protocols (HTTP(s), HTTP2) and understanding transport layer encryption technologies (TLS, SSL)
- Experiencewithautomation and orchestration
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud environments and deployment templates preferred
- Experience with modern application development methodologies(Agile, CI/CD) and tooling a plus
- Experience with modern application platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.) a plus
- Experience with Terraform or Ansible a plus
- Experience with REST APIs, both imperative and declarative, is preferred
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (TCL, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, etc.) a plus
- Experience with one of more of the following: L4/L7 Denial of Service threats, application security trends, application layer authentication and authorization technologies, automated threat detection and mitigation, and API Security concepts.
