Responsibilities:
Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects.

6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field

This IQA role will primarily focus on delivering effective and on-time delivery of issue remediation across the Markets business at Citi. The role integrates in-depth knowledge of risk practices, control design and implementation, and audit validation methodology with a solid understanding of the effective partnership required across the first, second and third lines to complete remediation effectively.
What you’ll do
Support effective issue management, including issue identification, root cause analysis/evaluation, remediation, closure, monitoring, reporting, change management and escalation to promote comprehensive, consistent, accurate, and timely issue resolution
Drive Markets IQA engagement across the full lifecycle of high severity issue remediations and key remediation programs
Act as a key resource for Markets Issue owners to advise and support on the effective design and implementation of key control remediations
Partner with colleagues to build highly effective relationships across the Markets business to ensure remediation design and implementation is effectively project managed and executed in co-ordination with second and third lines
Improve IA engagement by promoting awareness and knowledge of IA methodology
Support the IQA program for Markets, ensuring adherence with IQA relevant policies and procedures

What you'll do:
Complete assigned Quality Control (QC) reviews with a focus on verifying controls and risk reduction by defining and executing assessment/testing strategies
Analyze processes and controls to credibly challenge proposed changes and risk management
Provide advice on control design and effectiveness
Lead review meetings and conduct control walkthrough meetings as needed
Complete QC analysis, controls testing, QC checklists and maintain trackers
Manage stakeholder and other business/function QC participation as part of assigned reviews
Assist with the analysis of feedback themes and trends
Assist with the presentation of themes and trends and training
Assist with the maintenance of templates and procedure documents
Contribute to process change and improvement
What we'll need from you:
Audit, testing, or other quality assurance/control experience preferably from within the financial services industry
Knowledge of risk and controls concepts e.g. Risk identification and measurement, risk management and control design.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational influencing skills required
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details
Highly organized with demonstrated capability of managing oneself to tight deadlines

Duties: Responsible for development of the unexpected credit loss models, risk-weighted asset calculation used in determining the capital requirement or capital adequacy ratio for Citi's entire retail credit. Conduct model development and validation testing techniques covering risk models, including but not limited to linear regression models, logistic regression, generalized additive models, decision and regression trees, information gain and related segmentation statistical tools. Document, and ensure communication of key risks. Develop advanced retail Basel risk parameter models (PD, LGD, EAD) as well as segmentation models. Develop methodologies, algorithms and diagnostic tools for testing model robustness, stability and performance. Perform reliability analysis and quality control of modeling data and model results. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Three (3) years of experience must include: Developing methodologies, algorithms and diagnostic tools for testing model robustness, stability and performance utilizing modeling techniques including ‘Statistical’ and ‘Machine Learning’ techniques and statistical/modeling programs; Performing statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and numerical implementations using Python, R, Java, SAS, and Oracle SQL; Performing risk management, model analysis and delivering on all phases of model development, from design through training, testing, validation, and implementation; and maintaining and developing technical documentation for models, model validation, project plans and processes using validation testing techniques covering risk models, including linear regression models, logistic regression, generalized additive models, decision and regression trees, information gain and related segmentation statistical tools. 40 hrs./wk.
