Our Preferred Qualifications for this role
As a Cisco Solutions Engineer (SE), you will be a part of a dynamic and creative team of technology influencers. You will join the strongest SE team in the industry and peer with Account Managers and Account Executives who are invested in your success.
You will get the opportunity to work with some of our strategic Education accounts in Queensland as a Solutions Engineer.
You are an expert Solutions Engineer (SE) with a strong background in Networking and a strong understanding of one or more of our key technical pillars: Cloud and AI Infrastructure, Collaboration, Security and IoT. You will partner with our Account Managers in a pre-sales technical role, promoting and showcasing Cisco solutions.
You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers and crafting and configuring solutions and products to meet specific customer needs.
You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets. In additional to technological skill and the ability for accelerated learning you know the latest, you have presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills that evoke passion and confidence with customers.
- Create, own and drive the use of the customer alignment plan with customers and Cisco teams.
- Nurture customer relationships with technical decision makers and influencers
- Architect business and technology relevant solutions
- Realise customer value through Cisco and Partner Eco-system capabilities
- Drive adoption of Cisco products and services
Our Minimum Qualifications for this role
- 4+ years of networking, telecommunications or data centre industry related experience as well as Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area.
- Previous Technical Pre-Sales experience
- A strong multi-domain skillset across one or more of the following: Collaboration, Campus and Branch Networks, Security, Data Centre and Cloud and IoT
Our Preferred Qualifications for this role
- BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
- Capable of collaborating efficiently and contributing actively as a team member.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and resolve with an effective course of action.
