This role suits mid-level software engineers interested in joining the FAB Efficiency team as a 3D C++ Software Engineer. You’ll work with cross-functional teams including manufacturing design, automation and cloud engineering to enhance 3D CAD/CAM software for manufacturing technologies like SLA printing and laser trimming, improving accuracy and efficiency. Successful candidate will play a key role in advancing scalable and high-quality production systems.

In this role, you will…

· Develop scalable solutions to run a manufacturing automation software pipeline at multiple sites.

· Apply appropriate programming languages and third-party solutions to improve infrastructure.

· Take into account hardware and infrastructure while implementing solutions.

· Contribute to initiatives to develop cross-platform software including targeting multiple compilers and dependency managers

· Work with OS level code, making calls directly to Windows/Linux APIs

· Develop, debug, maintain and document software components

· Interact with customers and internal testing department to improve the product

· Follow good coding practices, including developer testing, code review, and branch management

In this role, you’ll need …

· BS in Computer Science or similar field

· Willingness to comply with a medical device Class II SDLC

· Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and internal customers on objectives, requirements and design constraints.

· Python experience

· Knowledge or willingness to learn other languages where applicable (e.g. Python, Java, Go…)

You will also be the HR site leader for the Raleigh office working closely with the executive site leader and the events, facilities and finance teams to assist with coordinating and organizing employee engagement events and programs. This includes providing HR guidance in situations regarding the facilities and cafe.

You will play a key role in helping to shape and drive the talent agenda. Specifically, you will work closely with leaders, teams and HR colleagues to identify people opportunities, strategies and solutions to challenges within the business as follows:
