Description:

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Improve the inventory accuracy and structure, support and control DC operations running effectively
  • Increase the customer satisfaction
  • Continuously improvement on the IC process to support business
  • Report and analysis data to make sure the inventory level at DC in healthy level and meets IC various KPI
  • Other tasks assigned

He/she will achieve this mission by:

  • Monitoring the cycle count execution and the inventory reconciliation between AFS & MA, and then push to continually improve the inventory accuracy.
  • Controlling DC operations and processes running smoothly
  • Checking the claims investigation and give feedback when needed, provide analysis for service enhancement
  • Managing Inventory control people such as lead and monitoring the team’s routine work, performance assessment and recruitment
  • Managing tail inventory
  • Managing overflow inventory
  • Make sure DC performance meets various IC KPI
  • Support LEAN team for initiatives saving target

Inventory accuracy monitor& improve

  • Monitor the plan and organization of cycle count under controlling.
  • Make sure the inventory adjustment (including plus-minus adjustment, block/release and A to D transfer) correct and on time.
  • Push to handle the inventory reconciliation between AFS & MA % MES timely.
  • Analyse the reason of stock discrepancies and set up the improvement actions with related departments.

DC operations and process control

  • Take troubleshooting daily to ensure the operation running smoothly.
  • Internal process audit/random checking rolling out to improve operations’ working accuracy and process optimization including inbound, outbound and special handling.
  • Monitor and enhance rework process both in DC and factory.

Customer claims handling

  • Check the investigation result reasonable and objective for complaints on delivery issues.
  • Supervise the claims/inquiries feedback timely and the communication recipient.
  • Give fully information for appeal claims and give suggestion to management team perspective from increasing customer service level.

Reporting & analysis

Lead and supervise the following report or analysis:

  • Summary the error/control daily report exactly.
  • Weekly & monthly cycle count result report and analyse to increase stock accuracy.
  • Regularly provide the inventory adjustment report to finance and management team.
  • Give claims report and analysis by month to push operation team increase picking accuracy.
  • Offer inventory analysis for inventory reduction & turns and well-structured.
  • Conduct the KPI assessment.

People Management

  • Build and develop specific inventory & process control team.
  • Enhance the staff/worker’s potentials /skills to fulfil the updated job requirement.
  • Objectively evaluate the performance of team members.
  • Personnel recruitment and interview.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge / Experience

  • Master the warehouse management system (WMS & SAP system), especially the inventory operations.
  • Well know the inbound & outbound processes.
  • Be familiar with the quality control outline or method.

PC/Language/Other Skills

  • Good at English read-write and verbal capability
  • Excellent in Excel, Power Point and other MS knowledge
  • Knowledge VBA/SQL/Python would be preferred

Competencies/Attributes

  • Carefully, teamwork, result-oriented,
  • Ability to multi-tasks, logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Position is integral to the on-going focus on Internal Controls and Risk Managment. It aims at:

  1. Developing, supporting and leading initiatives/projects focused on improving the efficiency, transparency and effectiveness of Internal Controls, Risk Management and Internal Audit across Emerging Markets processes local and regional. Responsible for working with management to identify opportunities for improvement, measure and analyze current business processes and redesign processes to meet the needs of a complex and growing business.
  2. Ensuring compliance with applicable external laws and internal regulations as well as the established Group Internal Control frameworks, and Group/Market/Brand and industry best practices and policies.
  3. Leading IC&PP data trends analysis by developing performance measurement frameworks (KPIs, goals, user needs, benefits) and analyses the performance of EM countries’ relevant processes and activities against these as well as adapting the approach and framework appropriately and in line with any changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audit and internal control reviews across clusters on all business processes ensuring end to end completion – planning, scoping, fieldwork and reporting.
  • Formulate enterprise risk management assessments and reporting across clusters prioritising risk mitigation actions and monitoring.
  • Internal Controls Framework: Contribute to the definition, documentation, and testing enablement of the Internal Controls Framework across all business processes (e.g., financial reporting, order-to-cash, source-to-pay, concept-to-shelf), sales channels (wholesale, franchise, retail, e-commerce), and entity-level controls. Partner with business process owners to ensure timely updates to the framework and maintain key control definitions in risk-control matrices.
  • Testing Oversight: Act as a reviewer and quality gatekeeper for ICS testing activities. Provide support and guidance to testers across markets.
  • Annual Calendar Management for EM HUB: Contribute to and maintain the annual calendar of ICS events and activities. Proactively identify opportunities for updates or enhancements and anticipate future needs.
  • Communications: Support the EM ICPP Director and Sr. Manager Hub of ICS in preparing timely and regular communications for the Internal Controls community, including key contacts at Market, Function, and GBS levels, as well as other assurance functions.
  • Reporting: Assist the EM ICPP Director and Sr. Manager Hub of ICS in preparing regular reports on internal controls testing results, risk management reporting and remediation actions, automation progress, key initiatives, and improvement opportunities.
  • Remediation Follow-Up: Drive the process for validating the closure of action plans resulting from failed internal controls tests.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the ICS framework, methodology, cadence, communication, and overall impact - such as implementing continuous monitoring practices.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a risk and controls business partner for EM-wide projects, including S/4 roll-out and E4P implementation.

  • EM & Cluster IC Leads and Global Internal Controls System team members
  • Internal Controls resources across ICS Community at Market, Function and Global Business Services (GBS)
  • Aligned Assurance functions, including Corporate Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, Information Security, etc.
