You will be part of a new team building a large scale tier-1 rendering platform that supports as the skeleton for all the payment pages to depend, host and render on, in Amazon Pay. This new system will be utilized by thousands of customers every day. You and a team of developers will work through all phases of the project life-cycle, including reviewing requirements, designing services that lay the foundation for the new technology platform, building from the basic blocks of the new UX components and their interfaces, developing and testing code, and delivering seamless implementations for our customers. You will help define, design, prototype, and build these experiences. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, Software developers and multiple client teams.
Key job responsibilities
You will:
* Develop and deliver mobile app features, UX flows, and UI components
* Collaborate with product and UX teams to develop maintainable features
* Work to continuously improve code quality, code maintainability and app performance
* Work along-side other app developers and help raise the mobile app development bar
* Work with modern iOS development tools and principles such as Swift, MVVM, SwiftUI, ReactiveSwift, Combine, Alamofire, CoreBluetooth, SwiftGen, SwiftLint, and Instruments.
* Regularly work with backend developers to help support how our app integrates with back-end services. - Write well-tested code using modern architectural principles.
* Take every opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture and implementation of cutting edge mobile based products
* Provide technical direction and strategy to the team, drive the system architecture, spearhead the best practices and influence peer teams with brown-bag sessions and hackathons
* Be committed to teamwork, hustle and strong communication skills (both to business and technical peers)

- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
