Your Role and Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include:

Develop and configure SAP solutions, including writing scripts and programs for enhanced functionality
Deploy SAP solutions and ensure smooth system integration
Troubleshoot and optimize performance by resolving issues
Provide support for SAP systems, end-user training, and documentation
Conduct independent client workshops.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We expect an experienced MM consultant to have the following technical expertise:

  1. Knowledge of SAP MM configuration, customization, and integration with other modules such as FI, CO, SD, PP, and QM.
  2. Ability to design, customize, test and implement SAP MM solutions
  3. Experience in SAP MM master data management, such as material master, vendor master, purchasing info records, source lists, and contracts.
  4. Proficiency in SAP MM business processes, such as purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, invoice verification, inventory valuation, physical inventory, and material requirements planning.
  5. Skills in SAP MM reporting and analysis using standard reports, queries, and BI tools.
  6. Knowledge of Dutch and English language (level C) are required for this role


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Additionally the candidate should preferably have the following skills

  1. Communication: Communicate clearly and confidently with different stakeholders, such as business users, technical staff, managers, and vendors. Be able to listen actively, ask relevant questions, explain complex concepts, and present findings and recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.
  2. Problem-solving: Able to analyze the client’s needs and requirements, identify the root causes of the issues, and propose suitable alternatives and options. Be able to apply logical thinking, creativity, and critical thinking to solve problems and overcome challenges.
  3. Project management: Have basic PM skills to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects, ensuring that they meet the scope, time, quality, and budget expectations of the client. Be able to use appropriate tools and methodologies, such as agile, waterfall, or hybrid, to manage the project life cycle and deliver value to the client.
  4. Technical expertise: Preferably have a solid understanding of the Defense domain they are working in and an understanding of software development, analytics and cybersecurity. The candidate should be able to use their technical skills and knowledge to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain IT solutions that meet the client’s needs and expectations.
  5. Business acumen: Having a broad knowledge of the Defense business environment and industry is beneficial in the performance of this role.
