Job Description

Overall responsibilities

• include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle for the dataintegration/ingestionsolution.
• Develop the backend ETL/ELT components, participate in integration testing and maintain development standards
• Help design and implement functional requirements
• Works collaboratively with various platforms and competencies that support the purpose of Enterprise Integration
• Accountable for onboarding of new initiatives/projects and constant improvements of .

Ideal skillset

• 3+ years of enterprise data integration and ingestion development experience with high performance and scalability requirements
• 1-2 years relevant work experience in technology including areas such ascloud deployment & integration, data engineering
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong software engineering and programming background inPython
• Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps processes and related tools including, but not limited to Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, GiHub, Jenkins, etc.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Lead by example – Always ready, willing and able to roll your sleeves and write code, debug and do what it takes for deliver high quality and scalable product
• Integration Experience with web services/API via REST/SOAP/JSON and other protocols
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and release management techniques
• Creative, innovative, self-motivated, applies problem-solving skills (thinks outside of the box) and systems thinking skills
• Ability to produce high quality technical documentation

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Understanding of application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience of ELT/Ingest tool is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to make effective decisions while working through complex issues
• Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential
• Demonstrated ability to produce high quality technical documentation
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
