Job Area:

The suitable candidate should be able to:

  • Drive continuous improvements in the environment working with various Capability Owners and Capability Operations Owners within Engineering-IT

  • Generate and provide Operations metrics, analysis of data and inference that can be used by various teams for service improvement.

  • Be a Custodian of Knowledge Base artifacts and systems.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of ITIL Processes viz. Incident Mgmt., Problem Mgmt., Release Mgmt. and Availability Mgmt.

  • Periodically review the ITIL process, related metrics and suggest improvements, if any.

  • Work with various teams and run the initiatives like enhancements in Service Now, Jira boards, data for LLMs that would run Bots for users and AIOps.

  • Work independently with little supervision.

  • Make decisions that are moderate in nature. Detect and correct errors with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or stake holder relationships. This may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

  • Communicate effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills and convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

  • Work within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Erroneous decisions, failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules impacting business outcomes

  • Demonstrate moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

  • Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.

  • Substantial creativity is needed to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.

  • Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.

  • Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive business projects within Engineering-IT

  • Lead highly complex analyses to identify where an issue has occurred and where process inefficiencies or gaps exist; performs cost/benefit analyses to improve support initiatives. • Lead the large business process improvement projects, including facilitating the process lifecycle, and defining deliverables; assists management to define deliverables for complex initiatives. • Determine integration and stabilization of highly complex processes across the organization. • Identify key measures of process effectiveness and provide inputs for performance metrics and aligns team members to performance goals. • Provide advanced and comprehensive support of users, business systems, and applications that achieve business efficiency and productivity goals. • Assume the lead role for securing support based on feedback and an understanding of business needs. • Lead a federated virtual team by creating, delivering, and providing presentations and training for highly complex business process improvements and enhancements. • Write clear and detailed documentation for highly complex processes and projects. • Make impactful decisions as it pertains to highly complex issues that arise within one's own function; makes decisions for more junior analysts. • Work with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate complex projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.

Highly Desired Technical Experience in 1 or more of the following areas:

• 8+ years’ experience with Systems and IT Process Analysis preferably in the areas of systems engineering or product development in silicon design and product lifecycles (IP, SOC and platforms).

• 2+ years’ technical project management experience, coordinating efforts of other project managers and technical leads.

• Analytical skills to prioritize mission-critical work activities and communicate priorities to others, remove roadblocks that threaten to derail progress, and make timely and difficult decisions about tradeoffs with incomplete information.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

• 5+ years of related business process analysis experience.

• 4+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

6+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
