Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • You will lead and manage a team of instructional designers, providing vision, direction, guidance, development, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and solutions.
  • Strong people management and project management skills, with the ability to effectively allocate resources, manage individuals/team, track progress/performance and proactively solve problems, and meet deadlines.

You will collaborate with various executives, SMEs, stakeholders and consultants and lead review meetings.

Continuously review feedback and data and assess the effectiveness of the learning experience and solution design to make improvements.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices in ID and incorporate innovative approaches into our learning experiences and solutions while inspiring others to do the same

Mentor, coach, and develop others on ID approaches and adult learning methodologies

Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills and the ability to interact across levels.

Possess a flexible work style and be able to work beyond the normal schedule during peak periods in order to meet deadlines.

Desired Qualifications (Knowledge and Skills)

2+ years of demonstrated experience managing ID team(s), and/or a content development team designing multi-modal learning solutions

8+ years in an ID role and/or related role(s), preferably in a SaaS or technology environment

Ability to independently and effectively multitask in a dynamic matrix environment and participate, contribute and lead multiple efforts with stakeholders across the globe.

Ability to travel as required building product/solution skills and acting as an instructor when necessary.

Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Word, Excel), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate 360 and Vyond (formerly Go Animate), Adobe Creative Cloud. Strong video creation, editing and publishing skills are highly valued.

Ability to effectively communicate up and down the organization and with liaison partners.

Experience with latest learning methodologies such as microlearning, game-based learning and VR/AR will be desirable.

Special Qualifications (Optional)

Experience with basic sales skills and the profession of sales knowledge a plus.

Proven experience developing courseware, training materials, technical content, including development of hands-on labs, using instructor led workshops and/or classrooms as well as virtual learning environments like web-based training, online, instructor led online, etc.

Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for enablement will be a huge added advantage
