What you'll do

As a software development student in our Strategic Frontrunner Projects Team, you will work on innovative projects that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform. Under the supervision of a senior developer, you will have the chance to directly interact with customers and users to perform all necessary tasks from requirements engineering, software design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

You will have the chance to directly work with an agile group of students with a tech and design background to bring ideas together and jointly ship real applications to real end users.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university of applied sciences in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Computer skills:

• Solid foundational knowledge in computer science and software engineering methodology:
• Experience in source code management (e.g., git)
• Experience in App Development for iPhone (iOS, Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit)
• Knowledge about UX fundamentals and methods
• Experience in REST- and GraphQL-APIs are a plus
• Experience in AR/VR are a plus (e.g. RealityKit, ARKit)
• Experience in DevOps is a plus (e.g., Continuous Integration using Jenkins or Travis)
• Experience in Game Design/ 3D modelling is a plus
• Experience in AI is a plus

Language skills:

• Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)

Soft skills:

• Eager to learn about new technologies
• Hands-on, reliable and open-minded mentality
• Strong team working skills
• Determined to reach a goal in time, to work independently and to prioritize tasks

Work Experience:

• This position is entry level. It’s a great opportunity for any motivated development student who wishes to gain practical development experiences.
