  About the Role

  
  The Lead Software Engineer is a part of our Product and Engineering team who are at the forefront of keeping our customers safe from attacks and breaches. In this role you will be focussed on helping our customers seamlessly manage their security solutions as effectively and efficiently as possible, and ensuring our products are delivering a secure experience. You will be working on a high impact and cross-functional team, creating end-to-end security solutions that drive customer success. You will have the opportunity to further enhance your skills surrounded by a team of incredibly smart and experienced Engineers, whilst mentoring others.

  In this role, you will:

• Build, maintain, and release our well architected services by writing correct and clean code consistently and following best practices and conventions. You will be recognized across teams for writing maintainable, stable, and well-architected code

• Be involved in driving the design and planning of upcoming features, our engineers are first class stakeholders in all parts of the development process

• When required, partner with internal teams such as UX and Product Management who work deeply with our product to ensure we are understanding our customers needs

• Deeply understand our products and make high impact decisions to support our customers

The skills you’ll bring include:

• A minimum of 8 years experience in software development using C++ or similar language

• Development knowledge with Golang languages is an advantage

• Experience with scalable, lightweight and highly performed software development

• Experience with endpoint security is an advantage

• Technical leadership

• Experience with security-oriented development, reversing or malware analysis experience – an advantage

• Hands on experience with Windows low-level development and debugging of Windows or Linux operating systems

• Team player – able to mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team.

• Experience in performing design and code reviews

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, team player, and out-of-the-box thinker
